Law changes pave way for LSE's Japan venture
（法改正でロンドン証券取引所の日本事業下準備）

The London Stock Exchange has moved a step closer to launching a junior market in Japan, modelled on AIM, with its Tokyo counterpart after the Japanese parliament approved regulatory changes.
日本の議会が規制変更を承認した後、ロンドン証券取引所は、東京証券取引所との、日本でのAIM市場をモデルにしたジュニア・マーケット（代替／新型投資市場）の開設に一歩近付いた。
The LSE and Tokyo Stock Exchange will be equal partners in the venture, earmarked to be launched early next year.
来年早々の開設を目指したこの事業で、LSEとTSEは同等の立場でパートナーとなる。
Pitched at growing companies in Japan and elsewhere in Asia, the market will mirror the AIM-system, where nominated advisers (nomads) work with companies interested in listing and effectively act as gatekeepers.
日本やアジアの成長企業を向けの同市場は、指定アドバイザー（NOMADS）が上場に関心のある企業と協力し、事実上門番の役割を果たすAIM市場のの制度を模範にする。
Japanese MPs have approved changes to the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act that will allow the establishment of exchange-regulated markets.
日本の国会議員等は、規制取引所の設立を可能とする、金融商品取引法の改正を承認した。
Tokyo Stock Exchange president and chief executive Atushi Saito said the exchanges had made "substantial progress" in their plan to launch a junior market. The nomad system had been a highly effective structure for AIM and it would be "an innovation in Japan", he said.
TSEの斉藤惇社長兼CEOは、この取引はジュニア・マーケットを開設する計画において「著しい前進」を遂げさせたと述べた。
NOMAD制度はAIMにとって非常に効率的な仕組であり、「日本での革新」となるだろうと彼は言った。
More than 1,650 companies are quoted on AIM, with a combined market capitalisation at the end of last month of more than ￡90bn.
AIMには1,650社以上が上場しており、先月末の時点で時価資本総額は￡900億を超えている。
LSE chief executive Dame Clara Furse said: "Creating a market that will contribute to the growth of the world's second largest economy and equity market is an immensely exciting opportunity."
