三密回避展・休廊中

全世界を  Covid19 ヴィルスが席巻中。日本でも緊急事態宣言が出され、イタリア、アメリカなどはさらに激しいロックダウンのもと我々は生活をしています。

全く見えなかったヴィルスの顔も次第に見え、日本では三密を回避することを言われています。「ステイホーム」の声かけのもと、様々な自粛要請が出て「不要不急」の外出は避けるようになりました。

国立美術館や都立の美術館は三月初旬より休館し、現在は地方美術館や個人営業の画廊も多くは休廊しています。

 

そんな中、改めてアーティストにとって作品をつくることや、それを見せていくということとは何かを小さいながらも考えていく機会をもちたいと考えました。

リモート、仮想現実で作品に触れることもできます。しかし実際の展示や展覧会なくしては、あるいはそれを見ずしてはいられない部分が大きい。

未知の凶暴なヴィルスは怖いけれど、人間は人との関わりを切って存在はできません。「ステイホーム」で、私たちはずっと家にいるのか。危険を回避しつつ、今後このヴィルスとどうむきあっていくのか考えねばならないのではないか。

新しい価値観や世界が生じるのか、現時点ではわかりません。しかし、新たなより創造にあふれた世界を構築するためにもこの時期に公立美術館・海外の美術館で展覧会が休止になったアーティストの方々、海外で厳しいロックダウンの中いる方たちとともに三密を避けて、多くの方には見ていただけない展覧会として、ヴィルスに対しては恐怖でもなく、過信するでもなく、しかしこの事態への静かな抵抗の姿勢としてこの展覧会を成立させたいと願います。

 

ギャラリーは店主が、徒歩圏内から歩いて行き幸いにもたくさんある大きな窓をあけて三密を避けソーシャルディスタンスを守り外からも作品が見られるように展示いたしております。

 

手洗い・マスク・発熱など各自の責任のもと危険を回避しておでかけください。店主が危険と感じた場合は休廊いたしますのでおでかけいただく場合は事前にご確認ください。

Covid19 Vils is taking over the entire world. In Japan, a state of emergency has been declared and we are living under an even more intense lockdown in Italy, the United States and elsewhere.

The face of Vils, which was not visible at all, was also gradually visible, and it is said in Japan to avoid Sanmitsu. Under the call of the "Stay Home," various requests for self-restraint have been made to avoid going out on "non-essential" occasions.

National and metropolitan museums have been closed since the beginning of March, and many regional museums and privately owned galleries are now closed.

 

Against this backdrop, we wanted to give artists a chance to think about what it means to create and show their work, albeit in a small way.

You can also touch your work remotely or in virtual reality. However, there is a large part of the work that would not be possible without the actual exhibition, or without seeing it.

Although unknown and violent vires are scary, humans can't exist without being involved with people. In a "stay home," are we going to be home all the time? We need to think about how to deal with this virus in the future while avoiding danger.

We don't know at this point if new values and worlds will arise. However, in order to build a new and more creative world, I would like to establish this exhibition as an exhibition that cannot be seen by many people, not with fear, not with overconfidence, but with a quiet stance of resistance, together with artists whose exhibitions have been suspended in public and foreign museums at this time, and those who are in a severe lockdown abroad.

 

The gallery is located within walking distance of the shop, and fortunately there are many large windows that allow visitors to view the work from outside, avoiding the three densely populated areas.

 

Please wash your hands, mask, and avoid danger at your own risk. The gallery will be closed if the owner feels it is dangerous, so please check in advance if you wish to visit the gallery.
