温暖化を止める方策

　温暖化が進行している。人類の将来にとって極めて危惧すべき問題であるが、それを避ける努力は微々たるもので、大きな災いは避けられないように思える。
　温暖化に起因する災害は、２０２２年現在の時点で、既に起きている。旱魃や洪水は頻発しているし、その規模も大きくなっている。さらに、旱魃が経済難民を生み出し、先進国に押し寄せている。

　最早、これまでの発想で温暖化を止める事は絶対に無理だと考えるべきで、経済開発優先の有り方から、環境優先、安心・安全優先に政策をシフトすべきだと思う。
　というのは、今の世界は効率の悪い夜間営業や、夜間の広告・照明等、事業の中で許容できるからエネルギーを使うという状態で、温暖化問題など遠い問題には関心を持てないという状態だからである。

　こうした状態は、温暖化が着実に進行しており、人類滅亡に至る断崖が直ぐそこまで来ているという事を実感出来ていないからであろう。
　そこで温暖化のための方策として、現在進行形の温暖化被害を計数的に分かりやすい形でWebで世界に発信する事を提案する。
　筆者の念頭にある災害としては、洪水、旱魃、火災、水没、氷河湖の決壊があるが、関連災害として経済難民も取り上げることも考えられる。そして、それらに拘る経済的、人的損害等を可能な限り計数化して、公表するのである。

　温暖化による災害といっても、直接的な被害や間接的な被害があり、更に二次的被害もある。厳密に被害の直接・間接の程度を評価する事は困難なので正確さの確からしさを明示する必要がある。被害の見積もりに関して異論が出る可能性があるのは勿論であるが、全く温暖化の被害の現状が見えていないよりは余程良いに違いない。

　Global warming is progressing. It is a problem of great concern for the future of mankind, but efforts to avoid it are insignificant, and a great disaster seems inevitable.
　As of 2022, disasters caused by global warming have already occurred. Droughts and floods are frequent and increasing in scale. In addition, droughts have created economic refugees that are flooding developed countries.

　We should think that it is absolutely impossible to stop global warming with conventional thinking, and I think that we should shift policies from prioritizing economic development to prioritizing the environment and safety and security.
　This is because in today's world, energy is used because it can be tolerated in business, such as inefficient nighttime operations, nighttime advertisements and lighting, and there is no interest in distant problems such as global warming.

　This state of affairs is probably due to the fact that even though global warming is progressing steadily, it is not possible to realize that the cliff leading to the extinction of humankind is imminent.
　Therefore, as a measure against global warming, I propose to disseminate the ongoing global warming damage to the world in a numerical and easy-to-understand manner by Web.
　Floods, droughts, fires, submergences, and glacial lake outbursts are among the disasters that the author has in mind, but economic refugees can also be considered as related disasters. Then, the economic and human damages related to them should be quantified as much as possible and made public.

　Disasters caused by global warming include direct damage, indirect damage, and secondary damage. Since it is difficult to strictly evaluate the degree of direct or indirect damage, it is necessary to demonstrate the certainty of accuracy. Of course, there is a possibility that anyone will have objections to the estimate of the damage, but it must be much better than not knowing the current state of the damage caused by global warming.
