The Sins of the Nuclear Regulation Authority

2023年03月31日 13時27分45秒 | 全般

The following is from Masayuki Takayama's column in the weekly Shincho, which is now on sale.
This article also proves that he is the one and only journalist in the postwar world.
A long time ago, an elderly female professor of the Royal Ballet School of Monaco, who prima ballerinas around the world highly respect, visited Japan.
She spoke at that time about the significance of an artist's existence.
She said, "Artists are important because they are the only ones who can shed light on hidden, concealed truths and express them."
No one would dispute her words.
It is no exaggeration to say that Masayuki Takayama is not only the one and only journalist in the postwar world but also the one and only artist in the postwar world.
On the other hand, many of those who call themselves artists, such as Oe, Murakami, and Hirano, do not even deserve the artist's name.
They have only expressed the lies the Asahi Shimbun, and others created rather than shedding light on hidden truths and telling them.
Their existence is not limited to Japan but is the same in other countries worldwide.
In other words, only a minimal number of actual artists exist.
This paper also keenly proves that I am right when I say that no one in the world today deserves the Nobel Prize in Literature more than Masayuki Takayama.
It is a must-read not only for the Japanese people but for people worldwide.
The emphasis in the text other than the headline is mine.

The Sins of the Nuclear Regulation Authority
Japanese seismology is quite advanced.
It is.
The Pacific and Eurasian plates collide under the Japanese archipelago, and the Philippine Sea Plate and North American Plate intervene between them.
The Izu Peninsula looks like it is part of Japan, but it was initially an island on the Philippine Sea Plate, colliding with the Japanese Islands' side.
The Japanese archipelago, which had been straight, broke off at that point, and magma spewed out from the gap, forming Mt.Fuji.
The Izu Peninsula has been forgiven for its sins, but at any rate, the four plates have been jostling under Japan, causing yearly earthquakes.
Naturally, research on earthquakes should advance in Japan, but the results have been poor despite the tens of billions of yen spent yearly on research.
They didn't read about 3/11, and they didn't read about the Kumamoto earthquake.
It is because the quality of researchers is poor.
The authority on earthquakes is Hiroshi Sato of the Seismological Research Institute of the University of Tokyo, who made a big fuss about the coming Great Tokyo Earthquake after reading that a concrete telegraph pole buried in Musashino was an active fault line.
Somehow such a lousy seismologist is in charge of the Nuclear Regulation Commission, which holds the fate of nuclear power plants in its hands.
The evil Naoto Kan created the Nuclear Regulation Authority.
Rui Abiru of Sankei reports that while the victims of 3/11 were shivering with hunger and cold, this man was running three restaurants: a tempura restaurant, a sushi restaurant, and a Western-style restaurant.
His companion was Pio d'Emilia, an Italian terrorist and correspondent.
He is the one who infused Kan with the idea of abolishing nuclear power plants.
He also created the Nuclear Regulation Authority so nuclear power plants could never operate again.
The NRA is led by a group of people from the Japan Atomic Energy Agency, an outcast in the (Japan's) Nuclear Power Village, and such bad seismologists as Kunihiko Shimazaki join them.
Incidentally, the TEPCO Fukushima accident was not caused by an earthquake at all.
The cause was the tsunami, which GE, the company that designed the plant, did not even anticipate the damage.
However, NRA did not even call GE to question them and instead focused only on the fault line running under the plant.
The current nuclear power plant was built to avoid the active fault, which was assumed to have moved 50,000 years ago.
However, the seismologists changed it to "since 130,000 years ago" because they felt it was insufficient.
If that was not enough, they decided to decommission the plant, and when it was cleared, they changed it to "from 400,000 years ago" (Kunihiko Shimazaki).
It was when the Japanese archipelago was still half under the sea.
When asked why 400,000 years ago, he reiterated, "We are an Article 3 committee, which the government cannot complain about."
The NRA, for example, has decided to decommission the Tsuruga No. 2 reactor of the Japan Atomic Power Company, saying that there is an active fault under the reactor.
Hokkaido Electric Power Company's Tomari Nuclear Power Plant also met the new standard 130,000 years ago. Still, the NRA ordered them to "examine the bottom of the ocean and explain the fault to 400,000 years ago.
Even Princess Kaguyahime would not be so unreasonable.
Hokuriku Electric Power Co. has also re-examined the geology of its No. 2 reactor in Shiga Town, Ishikawa Prefecture, going back 130,000 years.
The company did so because it did not want its trillion yen nuclear reactor to be destroyed because of a false accusation.
The explanation data showed that "there is no active fault under Unit 2." Still, the NRA seismologist said the exact opposite, saying, "I could see a typical active fault," The NRA also declared decommissioning.
Hokuriku Electric Power resisted.
This time, they colored the mineral veins that crossed the NRA's "active fault" in a straight line so that even an idiot could understand that the line had remained straight for 130,000 years.
It is because the mineral veins that cross the fault shift as the fault moves.
After being shown this, the NRA was reluctant to accept the plant's safety.
The reactor had been shut down for nine years, and the investigation cost was enormous.
However, the plant must wait to be put into operation.
The NRA's harassment is endless.
The 9/11 terrorist attacks saw a 200-ton plane fly into a building.
The NRA's next challenge is ensuring that a nuclear reactor building won't melt down when it crashes into it.
It is a matter of national security, but the power-hungry NRA will not listen.
When people have power, they instantly behave badly.
Kiyomi Tsujimoto committed a 20 million yen public money fraud as soon as she became a member of the House of Representatives.
The NRA, which does not know its incompetence, is even worse.
It could destroy Japan.
