第二次大戦において捕虜に暴力を振るう虐待行為を行ったのは朝鮮人達（当時は日本国民だった）だったこと…長引く戦争と拡大する戦線の中で、人員が不足した日本軍は、それまでは徴用していなかった朝鮮半島の男たちを看守に任用した…それが裏目に出た事を戦後の世界で唯一無二のジャーナリストである高山正之は明らかにして教えてくれている。

対外的な物事は日本人だけで行わなければならない…朝鮮半島の人間に関わってはいけない、との自戒と教訓を込めて。

あの映画は、看守たちが朝鮮人であった事を伝えてはいなかったと思う。

私は、ビジネスマンとして最盛期の日々を過ごしていた時分、行きつけの北新地の日本料理店で何度か遭遇していた映画監督大島渚氏については、彼が京大卒業生だった事もありシンパシーも感じていた。

一度も話した事はなかったのだが、ある時、大島渚夫妻から一緒に食事をしたいとの誘いを受けた。

私は喜んでと応諾したのだが…。

当時の私は一番仕事をしていた時期で商談が長引き、約束の時間はとうに過ぎてから、やっと店に到着した。

まだ部屋にいた大島氏からは、彼の帰り際に（会食＆会話できなかった残念さをお互いに持ちながら）黙って会釈…以来、彼と会った事はないが…。

彼の映画については、私は一切の批判をしない。

さて、この坂本龍一は、朝日新聞の社説…論説委員たちの論説だけで出来ている頭脳の持ち主である事を晒して、今は、原発絶対反対運動の旗手の一人であるらしい…

若宮好文と筑紫哲也が対談して明かしたというとおり、頭の悪い芸能人やスポーツ選手などに社説をあてがって世論を形成する…

坂本はうってつけの人間なのだろう…

そんな話を読書家の友人に話したら、「彼は娘に対してＤＶを振るっていた男ですよ…」

「そういう人間である事は、彼の顔に書いてあるじゃないか」、そんな会話もあった。

原発絶対反対デモに登壇して「たかが電気…」と発言した事を、検索して来た時に知って、先日書いた。

坂本龍一は、北海道の道民の前に現れて、その発言をしなければならないのである。

同時に朝日新聞の論説どおりの意見を持っている人たちが多いと言われる北海道の人たちも、彼らの言う事を聞いていたら、どうなるか、ということを今回は身に染みて知ったはずである。

以下は昨日の産経新聞の社説からである。

「完全復旧」に総力挙げよ

北海道で最大震度７の地震があった。

震源に近い厚真町では民家と住民を巻き込む大規模な土砂崩れが発生した。　

さらに、同町にある北海道電力の苫東厚真火力発電所の緊急停止が引き金となって、道内全域の２９５万戸への電力供給が止まった。「ブラックアウト」とも呼ばれる大停電である。

人命救助、被災者らの安全確保とともに、全道民約５３０万人の生命線である電力の早期復旧に総力を挙げなければならない。

世耕弘成経済産業相は６日午前、北海道の大停電は「完全復旧に、少なくとも１週間以上かかる」との見通しを示した。

苫東厚真火力発電所の１、２、４号機はタービンからの出火とボイラーの損傷で、復旧に１週間以上を要する。

３基の合計出力は１６５万kWで、地震前日のピーク時の需要の４割強に相当する。

一部の地域は６日午後に停電が解消された。

しかし、他の火力、水力発電所をフル稼働し本州から送電を受けても、７日から供給できるのは２９０万ｋｗにとどまるという。　

電気は現代社会に光と熱と情報を供給する最も重要なインフラである。

病気や障害がある人、高齢者や乳幼児にとっては、停電は命にかかわる。

救命活動や安否確認の重大な支障にもなる。

命を守ることを最優先に、当面は限られた電力で、住民の不安と不便を緩和する必要がある。

電源車の派遣をはじめ可能な限りの支援をしたい。

国、道、北海道電力と全国の電力会社は総力を結集して、完全復旧を早めてもらいたい。

ブラックアウトは、電力の需給バランスが崩れ、１つの発電所の停止がドミノ倒しのように連鎖して広域大停電に至る。

電力会社が最も恐れる事態である。　

東日本大震災の直後には、東京電力はブラックアウトを回避するために計画停電を実施した。

福島第１原発事故の後、国内の原発は運転を停止し、再稼働の進捗は遅い。

北海道電力の泊原発も停止中だ。

べースロード電源である原発にブラックアウトのリスクを小さくする役割があることを、再認識すべきである。

大停電が回避できたとはかぎらないが、泊原発が稼働していた方が危険度は低く、復旧の主力になったはずだ。
