　※１０３行目「遠方」は「おちかた」、「名残り日」は造語。
　　１０４行目「没薬」はミルラ。ギリシア神話では実父に恋したアドニスの母の変じた木だった覚えあり。樹皮の傷からしたたる涙が凝って香料になるのです。……エリアデスの涙＝琥珀と同じパターンですね。われながら無益な雑学。
