小春日和の温かな日が続いていますが、みなさんこの週末いかがおすごしでしょうか？
明日は英検の二次試験ですね！
受験される皆さんは、自信を持って面接に臨んできて下さい！
そして来週からは、来年１月に実施される英検に向けて準２級と３級の講習会が始まります！
一緒に勉強していきましょう。
そして、２週間後は英検ESG祭りです！
こちらは、お友達を誘って参加して下さい。
１１月は英検が目白押しのスターリーです・・・。

Yamadera is one of the most impressive spiritual sites in Japan. It is a breathtaking temple complex located just over the border in neighboring Yamagata Prefecture. Yamadera`s view is very scenic that will surely take your breath away— but literally, it will take your breath away because thousand-plus steps await you before you reach the top! Yamadera is stunning at any time of year, especially when the leaves change color in autumn. That`s why we went there early. We want to witness the true color of Yamadera during Autumn.
Last Sunday, we went to Yamadera by car but you can also go there by train. A visit to Yamadera usually starts at Yamadera Station. The temple complex, sitting atop a cliff, is clearly visible from the platform. While moving through the small town of Yamadera to reach the base, you can enjoy some traditional foods the town is famous for, like Yamagata’s famous handmade soba, or konnyaku balls with hot mustard. Konnyaku balls are delicious.
Risshakuji is the name of the mountain temple in Yamadera. This one thousand-year-old temple amazes me. It looks old but when you are going to look at it, you will feel that you were back a thousand years ago.
Yamadera has its section and can be easily accessed, and a mountain section which requires some energy. The mountain section consists of a thousand-step staircase through a serene forest, past interesting stone sculptures, intimate prayer halls, and rock formations. When you reach Godaido near the top, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the valley and town below. It was a tiring trip but fun adventure. I want to go there again this winter.

週末は塩釜に行って来ました！！
日取りが良かったので、塩釜神社で七五三お祝いをしている子がたくさんいました
紅葉も見ごろで、とても綺麗でした
今週末もきれいに見れそうなので、どこか別な所にも行ってみたいと思います

10月の中旬に開催された、Sendai Coffee Fes 2022 Autumnにはじめて行ってきました
定禅寺通りグリーンベルトにて、宮城だけではなく様々な地域のカフェが出店していました。
お昼くらいに行きましたが、こんなに混むの？！？とびっくりしてしまうくらいの人混みでした💦
私は、コーヒーが苦手なのでスイーツ巡りをしていましたw
大好きなスコーンや、マフィン、ガトーショコラなど！甘いものたくさん買ってしまいました。
次の日の朝食に紅茶といっしょにいただきました！
コーヒー好きのみなさんには、おすすめのイベントです！
わたしは...コーヒーが飲めないので、チャイのお店とミルクティーのお店を見つけたので、そこで2杯いただきました 
チャイティーのお店は、本格的でその場でブレンドした茶葉のにおいも楽しめました！
天気もよく比較的暖かい日で快適でした! 秋のイベントってなんだかわくわくするのは私だけかな？（笑）

Girl Reading a Letter at an Open Window（窓辺で手紙を読む女）
壁として塗りつぶされた下からキューピットの絵が現れました。
修復作業に伴ってより鮮やかになっています。
キューピットがいることで、この手紙に書かれている内容が全然違いものに感じます。
今月末まで宮城県立美術館でフェルメールのこちらの作品を見ることができます。
こんな機会もなかなかないので、私も明日こちらの作品を鑑賞してこようかと思っています。

October rolled out and Halloween suddenly finished right away. I don’t know how it does that so quickly, but last October 30th we had a Halloween event with the students.
It was my first time to experience celebrating Halloween with kids. As we probably know by now – kids love celebrating. And I think Halloween is a big holiday for them.
As much as I love Halloween parties, I find that they can be a little tricky for the kinder and elementary school students. It can be hard to think of lots of kids Halloween activities or ideas. Thanks to the teachers of Starry, we did a treasure hunt game. It was an interesting game because kids can challenge themselves by reading, understanding, and answering the questions has been made. If they got the answers correctly, they can receive a nice treat.
Halloween is not "Halloween" without wearing a costume. I am so excited to share some of my favorite kids wearing their Halloween costumes. All of our Kinder and elementary students wore and showed their best costumes and it was really cute. Some of the most famous costumes that the students wore are Anya, Luffy from the anime One Piece, Woody from The Toy Story movie, and Jack Skellington one of the characters in the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas.
But the character from Star Wars, the Stormtrooper caught my attention, it was very nice. Little Mario and Purikyua was also cute. I had fun and I really enjoyed our Halloween event. Seeing the happy face of the kids are priceless.

２日間の職場体験の最後にこんな素敵なプレゼントをいただきました。
おりがみで作った色々なお花です。
１１月の飾りつけを手伝ってもらったり、クラフトの準備を手伝ってもらったり、
またキンダークラスでは絵本の読み聞かせもしてくれました。
あっという間の時間でしたが、本当にいろいろとお手伝いいただき助かりました。
来週は、２つの中学校から計４名の生徒さんが職場体験に来てくれます。

週末用事があって気仙沼に行って来ました
早めに用事が済んだので観光しようということになり、大島に行きました
仙台では見られないほどの星が輝いていて、流れ星も見えました
iPhoneでこんなにたくさんの星がとれました！！
港の前もライトアップされていてとても綺麗でした
次の日の朝に十八鳴浜に行きました！砂を踏むとキュッキュッと鳴る浜で天然記念物指定されている場所です
駐車場から歩いて1キロ弱でしたが、歩った甲斐があったな！と思うほど綺麗な所でした
プライベートビーチのようになっていて、暖かい日だったらのんびりしたいなと思うような場所でした
行くまでが少し険しいですが、是非足を運んでみて下さい
