The japanese page is this page.

Students from class A.

We asked the post-men from Japan Post to keep modeling for a second class.

They answered lots of questions from the students very well.

’How many letters can you get in the basket on the back of the bike?” someone asked.

I’ll show you, take a look inside…

“You could fit a letter from every student at Futaba, from the elementary school all the way up to the High School”.

He answered.

 ‘Wow! That many?!’

The children said with surprise.

 ‘I want to drive!!’

Someone said and after putting on the helmet they jumped up onto the seat.

‘What’s this by the handle?’ I heard someone say.

‘This is the horn, it makes a loud noise’was the reply.

While sketching there are many more exchanges like this.

We started to work very hard.

Father Richard came along who had allowed us to use the grounds of the church.

After drawing our sketches we took time to say thank-you.

After finishing our work we stopped to look back as the Japan Post vehicles left the church.

Everyone turned to call ‘Bye-bye! Thank-you!’

When I looked back I could see everyone waving at the same time.

While it was being done as a courtesy, it seemed so genuine and full of heart as they called to say farewell.

You can see Ms. M smiling at their good will.

After meeting for a short time we have our sketches and can think about painting.
