3 weeks ago, I and XXXX have gone to Karaoke box in Ikebukuro. That was our first karaoke together. Actually, for him, it was the first time.
Though this is secret, his ancle is a bass player in very very famous rock band from USA. Sometime you can hear his bass in TV CM now as well.
In the Karaoke, I wanted to entertain him and I tried to select songs from USA. Actually, I love many UK songs.
I sang a song called "I.G.Y" by Donald Fagen and the next song he sang was "Deacon Blues" by Steely Dan. (Donald Fagen is a vocal of Steely Dan.)
He said to me that his most favorite band was Steely Dan in his life. And then our friendship has become strong, I believe. Yeaaaaah.
By the way, he was a good singer even in his first karaoke.
