最近体重こそ計っていませんが、こちらに着任以来明らかに胴回りが大きくなっています
そのため、週末の休日には歩いて外出することにしています
日差しが傾いて少し暑さが和らぐ4時過ぎに出かけます
今は6時にはもう暗くなりますので、保安上の理由から日没前には帰宅したいので、ギリギリこの時間です
今日はプノンペンの町の東側を流れるメコン川沿いの道を約2時間歩きました
横断歩道がほとんどなく、歩行者優先の習慣がないこの国では、道路の横断は命がけです
川沿いの道は公園になっていて、人々が様々なスポーツに興じています
日本では馴染みのないセパタクローや、名前はわかりませんがバドミントンのシャトルコックのような羽根を足の裏を使ってネット越しにやりとりするゲームなどがあります
もちろん普通のバドミントンや、サッカーも人気があります
日本はすでに桜が満開と聞いていますが、この国にも桜によく似た花があり、川沿いの道に咲いています
花の名前を誰に聞いても誰も知らないみたいです
I didn’t weigh myself since I arrived at Cambodia but I must be getting my waist bigger.
So I have been walking at weekend for exercise.
After the sunshine becomes calm around 4pm I went out.
At 6pm it becomes dark and I want come back before sunset because of security reason.
Today I had walked the river side of Mekong which is flowing at the east of Phnom Penh city almost for two hours.
To across the street, I have to take a risk of my life in this country that has almost no cross road and no custom of walker’s preference.
The riverside walk was like a park and many local people were enjoying sports.
The sepatak-row which is not familiar in Japan and I don’t know the name of like badminton using the hoot sole.
Of course general badminton and soccer game are popular in this country.
In Japan I had informed that the cherry blossom has already been full blooming.
There is very similar blossom with cherry in this country but no one knows the name of it.
