想定外の寒さ Unexpected Cool

12月25日、クリスマスデーは仏教国ミャンマーの国民の休日に指定されています

ちょっと不自然な気もしますが、有難く休ませていただいております

先日スーパーの前のサンタさんと並んでお坊さんが記念写真を撮っていましたが、あいにくカメラを持ち合わせていなくて、シャッターチャンスを逃しました

12月中旬から急に気温が下がり、地元民は朝晩にはセーターやジャケットを着用しています

私は長袖の服をあまり用意していませんので、部屋でくつろいでいるときにはかなり寒さを感じます

先ほど温度計を確認したら、両側の窓から最も遠い寝室で20度を下回っています

現在午後の9時ちょっと前ですが、部屋でじっとしていると寒いので、帰国時のために持参したダウンジャケットを着用してちょうど良い感じです

試しにエアコンの温度を30度に設定してみましたが、この国のエアコンは冷房専用で暖房機能はついていませんでした

こんな夜は温かいコーヒーでも飲みながら、フリースのひざ掛けをしてパソコンに向かうのがよろしいようです

Today it’s the Christmas day and a public holiday in Myanmar the Buddhism country.

It seems little strange but I’m taking a day off too.

The other day at the front of the supermarket, the monk had taken a picture with Santa but unfortunately I didn’t have a camera with me and couldn’t get the interesting scene.

Since the middle of December, the temperature is becoming down and local people put the sweater or long sleeve jacket in the morning and the evening.

I didn’t prepare enough warm clothes and feel very cold when I relax at my room.

I checked the temperature and it was below 20 degrees at the bed room which is far from the window.

It is just before 9 PM and I put the down Jacket which I prepared for the going back Japan in April.

I tried to set the air conditioner at 30 degrees but in this country it is only for cooling.

In such a cool night, it would be nice that having hot coffee and sit at front of PC with fleece blanket.
