日本の時間、世界の時間。
The time of Japan, the time of the world

A woman who cannot see the truth

The following is from Masayuki Takayama's serialized column that marks the end of Weekly Shincho, which was released today.
This article also proves that he is the one and only journalist in the postwar world.

A long time ago, an elderly female professor of the Royal Ballet School of Monaco, highly respected by prima ballerinas worldwide, visited Japan.
At that time, she spoke about the significance of an artist's existence.
She said, "Artists are important because they are the only ones who can shed light on hidden, concealed truths and express them."
No one would dispute her words.
It is no exaggeration to say that Masayuki Takayama is not only the one and only journalist in the postwar world but also the one and only artist in the postwar world.
On the other hand, Oe, I don't want to speak ill of the deceased, but (to follow Masayuki Takayama's example below), Murakami and many others who call themselves writers or think of themselves as artists are not even worthy of the name of artists.
They have only expressed the lies the Asahi Shimbun, and others created rather than shedding light on hidden truths and telling them.
Their existence is not limited to Japan but is the same in other countries worldwide.
In other words, there are only a few true artists.
This paper is another excellent proof that I am right when I say that no one in the world today deserves the Nobel Prize in Literature more than Masayuki Takayama.
It is a must-read not only for the people of Japan but for people all over the world.

A woman who cannot see the truth
The area inside the Great Wall of China is called Zhongyuan, where the Han Chinese have lived since ancient times.
Many dynasties were established in Zhongyuan, but most were foreign dynasties that came over the Great Wall, enslaved the Han Chinese, and gave birth to a splendid culture.
However, the foreign dynasties would one day fall.
When that happened, the local Han Chinese would rise and fight for supremacy, and the world was in great turmoil.
The Spring and Autumn Warring States period after the fall of the Zhou Dynasty is a good example.
Eventually, a more muscular foreign enemy came along and conquered such turmoil.
The Tang Dynasty of the Xianbei, the Yuan Dynasty of the Mongols, and the Qing Dynasty of the Manchus.
When the Qing Dynasty was destroyed, Chiang Kai-shek, Feng Yu-hsiang, and Zhang Zao-tsu-gu-lun rose and began to stir things up similarly.
In the usual pattern, a foreign power, such as Japan, would come out to rule China and administer good government.
The people would have been happy and satisfied, but this time, another power intervened.
The United States.
This country had a bizarre obsession with China and even called it Manifest Destiny.
The U.S. selected Chiang Kai-shek from among the Han Chinese, who were in uproar and said, "I will make you the next supreme ruler.
It was not a tiny Zhongyuan king either.
The U.S. gave Chiang Kai-shek all the territories ruled by the Qing Dynasty, including Manchuria, Mongolia, and Uyghur.
It is what is known as the Stimson Doctrine.
If this were to happen, Manchuria would be Chiang's territory, so "Japan would be infringing on Chiang Kai-shek's territory.
Therefore, Stimson aimed to get Japan out of China.
Japan would counter.
Japan admonished, "Manchuria, like the Han Chinese in Zhongyuan, is the homeland of the Manchu people. It does not belong to China," but the U.S. would not listen.
On the contrary, the U.S. ordered Chiang to fight the Japanese and beat them out in return for the U.S. giving him a large land area.
The U.S. gave the Shina Air Force a present by attaching instructors to fighter planes.
It was like giving a Cherokee a gun to beat an Apache.
Germany responded.
They gave Chiang Kai-shek's army, a ragtag group, German helmets, and guns and beat them back from the inside out.
They also built a group of solid bunkers along the outer Shanghai border between Wujiang at the mouth of the Huangpu River and Yangcheng Lake.
It was a mechanism to kill all the Japanese in Shanghai and crush the rescuing Japanese troops.
If Chiang Kai-shek's army could accomplish this, China would belong to the United States.
However, there was a happening during the finishing touches.
It was the Xi'an Incident in which Zhang Xiaoliang captured Chiang.
Some say that the Comintern was behind the incident, but William Donald, an American journalist who had lived in China for 37 years, flew to the scene with Soong Mei-ling.
He was connected with the Committee for Public Information (CPI) of the United States, and the case was quickly solved upon his arrival.
Chiang Kai-shek then launched a war against Japan.
First, he provoked the Japanese at Marco Polo Bridge.
It was a situation that could have led to war, but Japan persevered.
Next, 250 Japanese residents were massacred in Tongzhou.
At the Alamo, 250 U.S. citizens were killed, and the U.S. immediately went to war with Mexico.
When the battleship Maine exploded in Havana Bay, killing 220 people, the U.S. declared war on Spain.
Some say that the U.S. had the Tongju Incident committed in the same sense, but Japan still did not take any action.
It is doubtful that the U.S. would have said, "Never mind, just go ahead and do it.
Chiang ordered a 60,000-strong force to attack the Japanese concession, aiming to massacre 20,000 Japanese.
However, a small garrison fought well on the Japanese side, and reinforcements eventually arrived from Japan.
The tochka, a good target, was soon dropped, and the U.S.-built Chinese Air Force dropped bombs outside the Japanese concession, killing many Chinese and Ambassador Reischauer's brothers.
It was the Second Shanghai Incident. Historian Yoko Kato, in a trilogy with Yasuo Hasebe and others, has corrupted Japan by saying, "Japan underestimated China, did not know about the existence of the bunker, and was looked down upon by Britain and the U.S. This is just like Russia today."
Where does she come up with such a strange view?
It is why she was removed from the recommendation of the Science Council of Japan the other day.
The Science Council has proposed new members this year, but her name is not on the list.
Is it any wonder?

*What a surprise! She is a professor at the University of Tokyo.
The Japanese people must not forget that Yoko Kato is a professor at the University of Tokyo and that she is one of the leading anti-Japanese players in the U.N. Human Rights Council's slanderous activities against Japan.
