日本の時間、世界の時間。
The time of Japan, the time of the world

Contrary to us, China laughed high. The U.N. is a convenient venue for China.

At this summit, developed countries made self-destructive promises to hurt their economies, while China, as usual, was not bound by CO₂ at all.
It is the chapter I sent out on April 29, 2021.
It must be re-read, not only by the Japanese people but also by people worldwide.
Even more so since COP27 just announced another declaration that will only be used by China's One Belt, One Road.
The simple truth is that COP27 is an organization that is being used ideally by China. This country combines "abysmal evil" and "plausible lies" with the evil of a communist one-party dictatorship.
COP27 is the result of China's true nature as the country mentioned above, manipulating the foolish developed countries, which are ruled by pseudo-moralism, with rhetorical flourishes.
COP27 is a highly foolish organization that is only helping China's "evil intentions" for world domination.
The truth is that the issue of climate change and global warming countermeasures is a long-term plot by China to use COP27 to turn developing nations into tributaries.
The following is an article by Taishi Sugiyama, Senior Research Fellow, Cannon Institute for Global Studies, published in Sankei Shimbun's "Sound Argument" on April 29, 2021.
This article also proves that he is a national treasure, as defined by Saicho, the supreme national treasure.
People worldwide must recognize that he is also a supreme treasure for the world.
Greta Thunberg, Naomi Trauden, and the rest of the people who make their living in the stupid media that patronize them should read it.
The emphasis in the text other than the headline is mine.
Resist Runaway Global Warming Measures
At the U.S.-sponsored climate change summit, Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga said, "We aim to reduce greenhouse gases such as C0₂ by 46% in 2030 compared to 2013 levels, and we will continue to challenge for a further 50% reduction."
It is more than 20 percentage points above the current target of 26%.
Doomed U.S. Climate Diplomacy
Japan's 46% to (or even) 50% target is merely in line with the 50% to 52% target set by the United States.
When it agreed to the Kyoto Protocol in 1997, it was only one percentage point less than the U.S. 7%, which was 6%.
When it agreed to the Paris Agreement in 2015, it was 26%, the same as the U.S.
In each case, the U.S. agreed once but then backtracked. Japan, which had followed its lead, was thrown off the ladder.
The same will indeed happen this time.
The Republicans, who make up almost half of Congress, know that the "climate crisis" theory is a fake.
Not only that, the U.S. is the world's largest oil and gas producer, and even Democrats will vote against global warming measures for the sake of their local industries, along with Republicans.
Regulations such as environmental taxes and emissions trading will never pass Congress.
The U.S. cannot make any significant reduction in C0₂ emissions.
Why did the U.S. insist on a goal that it could not achieve?
It is based on the "climate crisis theory," which states that the global climate is in crisis and that we must limit the temperature increase to 1.5 degrees Celsius, which means that the rise must be halved by 2030 and reduced to zero by 2050.
This theory is advocated by purveyors and believed by the leadership in Western Europe and the Democratic Party in the United States.
However, statistics on typhoons and hurricanes show that there has been no increase in the severity of disasters, and this climate crisis theory is nothing more than a fake.
Despite this, CNN and other purported media outlets have ignored inconvenient facts and suppressed any refutation of the theory.
The Biden administration's primary goal at the summit was to satisfy those who believe in the climate crisis theory, especially those on the left, such as Sanders, whose presence is growing within the Democratic Party.
China, India, Russia, and other countries did not agree to dig deeper into the target.
As a result, Japan, the U.S., and Europe unilaterally took on a substantial economic burden.

Contrary to us, China laughed high.
At the summit, Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a confident speech.
China welcomes the U.S. return to the Paris Agreement," he said, criticizing the unreliability of the U.S., whose policies change with every change of administration.
He also clarified that the official negotiating forum is the U.N., not the US-led summit.
The U.N. is a convenient venue for China.
Together with the many developing countries known as the G77, China is a leader in defending the rights of economic development and holding the developed countries to their responsibilities.
China struck a favorable deal by leveraging its participation in the summit.
In the joint US-China statement preceding the summit, the two countries said they would pursue together "policies, measures, and technologies to decarbonize industry and power."
China will use this to curb U.S. sanctions that would harm China's interests in a future trade war.
Under China's current plan, emissions will increase by 10% over the next five years.
This increment is equivalent to Japan's 1.2 billion metric tons of annual emissions.
Also, Japan's coal-fired power generation capacity is about 50 million kilowatts, and China is building an equivalent amount every year.
While the developed countries at this summit made self-destructive promises to hurt their economies, China, as usual, is not bound by CO₂ at all.
Not only that.
China has a significant industry in solar power and electric vehicles and can dominate markets created by developed countries.
For developing countries, China has announced that it will further promote the One Belt, One Road initiative under the guise of green infrastructure development.
While developed countries will reduce their oil consumption and the oil industry will be hit hard, China will be able to procure oil more easily from oil-producing countries.
While developed countries are withdrawing from thermal power generation projects in developing countries because of C0₂, China will be able to monopolize this market.
Developing countries deprived of fossil fuels by developed countries will turn to China in droves.
China is smiling broadly.
What should Japan do?
Japan will begin the process of reviewing its energy policy.
What is essential is concrete policies.
Japan should examine the appropriateness of each policy one by one, carefully considering security and the economy.

Institutionalize cost containment.
The reality of solar power generation is that it costs 1 trillion yen annually to reduce C0₂ by 1%.
A simple calculation for a more profound reduction from 26% to 46% would cost an additional 20 trillion yen annually.
First, the government should clarify how much the total amount is.
Next, a system is needed to prevent the costs from skyrocketing.
Therefore, we propose "carbon pricing as a policy."
It should set a specific "carbon price" of, say, 4,000 yen per metric ton of carbon and analyze all policies for cost-effectiveness using this carbon price. The government should decide whether or not to implement the policy, considering security and other factors.
It will prevent wasteful spending.
The recognition that zero C0₂ is impossible and that the climate crisis is a fake will spread worldwide, especially among U.S. Republicans.
Until then, we have no choice but to defend our national interests persistently.
