The time of Japan, the time of the world

It is precisely the reason why China did not like Abe.

The following is from Mr. Kadota Ryusho's latest book, attached.
It is a must-read not only for the Japanese people but also for people worldwide.
It is a must-read, especially for all politicians and media people.
Introduction
On July 8, 2022, a little more than two months before the 50th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and China, former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, 67, was shot in the back near Kintetsu Yamato Saidaiji Station in Nara City, Nara Prefecture, as he was giving a speech in support of the Upper House election, and never returned.
It was a shocking incident that shook the world.
The perpetrator was Tetsuya Yamagami, 41, a resident of Nara City.
He was bitter that his mother had lost all her money to the former Unification Church (Family Federation for World Peace and Unification) and believed that the church and Prime Minister Abe were close friends.
Former Prime Minister Abe and the former Unification Church have nothing to do with each other.
However, immediately after his arrest, Yamagami blurted out his motive and clarified that his reason was "not for political purposes.
It is common knowledge among those involved in the investigation that when a suspect does not want his true motive to be known, he will try to take the examination differently by talking about another reason.
Moreover, Yamagami created an alibi by shooting bullets into the organization's facilities before dawn the day before the crime, and many experts have tilted their heads at the "motive.
The true motive may take more time than imagined, or it may never be revealed.
What is certain, however, is that former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has been "the most difficult enemy" of the hegemonic Chinese state.
In August 2021, the British state-of-the-art aircraft carrier "Queen Elizabeth" came to Japan for a landmark joint military exercise involving Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.
The former Prime Minister Abe's words about the exercises were impressive.
There was once an "ABCD encirclement network," and the "C" in "ABCD" is now the "J" in "J." I wondered if it meant that the "C" had been replaced by a "J."
Former Prime Minister Abe, who fought against Japan's postwar regime and pushed to break free from it, was the "C" in the "ABCD encirclement network," or "J" instead of China. These words show that former Prime Minister Abe, who fought against the postwar regime in Japan and pushed to break out of it, had in mind the inclusion of "J," or Japan, in place of "C," or China, in the "ABCD Siege.
These words are significant.
For Chinese President Xi Jinping and, indeed, the Chinese Communist Party, there was no other barrier as formidable or as troublesome as Shinzo Abe.
When I exchanged information with senior officials of the Ministry of Defense and the Self-Defense Forces, they told me that no other politician had such a "serious sense of crisis" as Mr. Abe.
He is the politician who has changed the perception of the leaders of the liberal circle and even changed their grand strategy.
It is precisely the reason why China did not like Abe.
The "Free and Open Indo-Pacific" strategy is now the basic strategy of the free world.
This basic concept, which both Europe and we accept as a central strategy, is, to put it another way, a "strategy of encirclement against China.
It is truly an "ABJD encirclement."
The Abe Plan has fundamentally changed the view of U.S. President Barack Obama and European leaders, who had unquestioningly believed that "China can be a responsible superpower."
"We must not underestimate China. What is the goal of the Chinese Communist Party? What is its true nature? If this situation continues, Japan and the world will be in serious trouble."
World leaders were gradually shaken by Abe's "serious sense of crisis."
Not only did he talk about it, but Abe stunned world leaders by passing the "Peace and Security Act" to confront the crisis head-on, even if his approval rating dropped more than 10 points.
He succeeded in convincing Obama and then President Trump.
Before being sworn in as president, he walked into the Trump residence to discuss the China threat.
Despite their first meeting, they spent most of their time discussing the China issue, and Abe "won" Trump over.
Xi Jinping, who became prime minister almost simultaneously with Abe's return to the post in 2012, had to confront this formidable adversary.
Xi must have been quite impatient with Abe's steadily advancing encirclement of China, which he had no choice but to watch with crossed fingers.
If China's intransigence is unchecked, we cannot maintain Japan's defense and regional peace and stability.
In addition to changing the status quo in the South China Sea by force, Xi Jinping will undoubtedly try to annex Taiwan.
Shinzo Abe's "serious sense of crisis" has "fundamentally changed" postwar Japan, which has been a "lightly armed, economically oriented" nation since Shigeru Yoshida.
In September 2015, as mentioned above, Abe enacted the "Peace and Security Legislation," evolving the Japan-U.S. alliance from a unilateral to a bilateral one, and winning the unprecedented trust of the U.S., clearly placing security policy as the nation's "number one priority."
And in 2022, amid the destruction of the postwar order by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, he steadily set the course for raising defense spending to 2 percent of GDP.
But Shinzo Abe, a politician indispensable to the security of not only East Asia but the world, was "killed" by the unthinkably lax security of the Nara Prefectural Police.
In this book, I will describe the reality of the Chinese Communist Party's "operations against Japan," which began 70 years ago and continues to this day.
Almost all of Japan's major political, government, business, and media circles are manipulated by China, and even the Liberal Democratic Party is said to be about 80% "pro-China.
I want to report in detail how much effort and persistence the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has put into "manipulating Japan" to build up to this point.
I would like you to remember the pitiful state of the Japanese politicians and businesspeople who were entangled in the process.
The politician Shinzo Abe questioned the dominance of China in Japanese politics, and he went head-on and tried to create a political situation in which the pro-China faction could not move freely with his outstanding theory and unique character.
I shared the same sentiment and wrote this book.
However, former Prime Minister Abe, who most wanted this book to be read, is no longer with us.
Abe's death indeed increased the danger of a Chinese military invasion of Taiwan.
China's military invasion of Taiwan, which the efforts of many peace-loving people have held back, is "not a question of whether it will happen, but a question of when."
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP), which has been very active, is now conducting all kinds of maneuvers in Japan, Taiwan, and the world.
We hope that many Japanese people will pick up this book and see with their own eyes what has happened in Japan in the past.
I also hope you will learn why the politician Shinzo Abe went to such lengths to confront China.
This book is a "history of aggression" for friendship between Japan and China, dedicated to former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. He left behind unparalleled achievements in the history of Japanese politics.
If many readers can share Prime Minister Abe's and my "serious sense of crisis," I believe it will be worthwhile to present this book to the world.
