Justice has been done.
オバマ大統領の演説が終わりました。
パキスタン政府の協力によりアメリカ諜報機関が情報を収集し、軍の作戦でビンラディンの棲息する大きな邸宅にヘリコプターからの４０分間攻撃を行った、事前の演習を行っていたためにアメリカ側の犠牲者は出なかった、ということのようです。
現在夜中ですが、ホワイトハウス前には多くの群衆が集まって国歌を歌ったり、国旗をなたびかせています。
クリントン元大統領のコメントです：
I congratulate the President, the National Security team and the members of our armed forces on bringing Osama bin Laden to justice after more than a decade of murderous al-Qaida attacks,"
ブッシュ元大統領のコメントです ：
“I congratulated him and the men and women of our military and intelligence communities who devoted their lives to this mission. They have our everlasting gratitude. The fight against terror goes on, but tonight America has sent an unmistakable message: No matter how long it takes, justice will be done.”
今回も大統領の発表前にtwitter で「ビンラディン死亡」が世界中に広まりましたね。
