TDFは、Statement about Oracle’s move to donate OpenOffice.org assets to the Apache Foundationと歓迎しているが、

OOo=LO communityとしていたり、

とりあえずOOoをベースとしつつ改良を加えるということを続けるようだ。

Oracleの立場は大変クリアに見える。community communityいうのだったら、さっさとcommunityで母体を作って開発者を雇上げ、コードを書きリリースすればいい。Oracleが手をはなしてできないのだったらやはり妄言だ。只のものを持ち上げて、そこに甘えてふんぞり返っているのではないか? 本当に世の中に重要なものか? 重要な点はなになのか? 自由を利害とするのか? ならば不断の努力で維持せよ、それができないのならばMSに金を払っていることで、お前の利害は維持できているではないか。と、問うているように感じる。
