椿の花咲く道 / Camellia Blossam Road

ガザでの惨劇に心が塞いでしまって、昨日は、何も手が付きませんでしたが、今日は、雨もあがったので、久し振りに自転車で街（市内）への買物に、いつものお気に入りの道を通って行くと、待ってくれていたかの様に、椿の花が咲いていました。

Yesterday, I was so depressed by the tragedy in Gaza that I could not do anything, but today, after the rain had stopped, I went shopping for the first time in a while by bicycle along my favorite road in the city, and found camellia flowers blooming as if they were waiting for me.

昨日までの冷たい雨に打たれて、道へと落ちた花びらは春の到来を告げている様です。
こんな素敵な出迎えを受ける僕は、やはり、幸せだと思います。
苦難に満ちたガザに住む人々にも、春がやってくる事を願わずにはいられません。

The petals that had fallen onto the road after being battered by the cold rain until yesterday seemed to herald the arrival of spring.
I am happy to receive such a beautiful welcome.
I can't help but hope that spring will come to the people living in Gaza, who have suffered so much.
