The Sankei Shimbun reported that LDP President Shigeru Ishiba has started to consider that, after taking office as Prime Minister on Oct. 1, he will dissolve the Lower House on the 9th and hold a Lower House snap election with the promising schedule of "announcement on Oct. 15, vote casting and counting on the 27th."
There is allegedly an option to make his policy speech on Oct. 4, the representatives of each party ask questions at the plenary sessions of the both Lower House and Upper House from Oct. 7, and pary leaders debate on the 9th.
It seems that the stock market crash and so on are already "factored in," rather than "gradual decline," he intends to take the initiative and win.
