> 松野博一官房長官は８日午前の閣僚懇談会で自民党所属議員などとの関係が問題となっている世界平和統一家庭連合（旧統一教会）に関し、「国民に疑念を持たれることがないように、関係をそれぞれ点検し、厳正に見直しを行ってほしい」と指示した。
> その後の記者会見で明らかにした。
Concerning the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU, the former Unification Church), whose relations with LDP lawmakers and so on are problematized, at an informal cabinet meeting in the morning on Aug. 8, Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno directed that "I would like you to inspect each relationship and rigorously review it not to be suspected by the nationals."
He clarified so at a press briefing after that.
