六本木ヒルズで行われた、「大英博物館展」に行ってきました。

古代エジプト人の死生観を知ることができます。死んでもなお、生き続けている肉体と魂と、どう向き合っていたのかが分かります。

メインで飾られていた、グリーンフィールドの「死者の書」。37mのスケールは圧巻でした。
色遣いのきれいさや、筆使いの繊細さは、パピルスに描かれている実物でないと体感できないものがありました。
