第37回ラジー賞候補

「良い映画」を評価するアカデミー賞に対抗して「ダメ映画」をやり玉に挙げるラジー賞。

受賞者が授賞式に来ないことでも有名だが、２００５年にはハル・ベリーが登壇し、
パロディスピーチで会場を沸かせた。

２０１０年、サンドラ・ブロックが（別々の映画で）ラジー最低女優賞と
アカデミー主演女優賞を同一年にダブル受賞する「快挙」を達成している。
この時、サンドラ・ブロックはラジー賞受賞の対象作となった
「ウルトラ Ｉ　ＬＯＶＥ　ＹＯＵ！」のＤＶＤを大量に台車に乗せて登場、
授賞式出席者に配るというパフォーマンスで会場を沸かせた。

ゴールデンラズベリー賞の略と言われることもあるが、賞の正式名が「ラジー賞」で、
「ゴールデンラズベリー賞」が俗称。メディアも間違えることがある。

選出する団体が「ゴールデン・ラズベリー賞財団」となっていることも混同の一因か。
前年に公開されたもっともダメな映画を選ぶ式典だが、本当の駄作は選考対象になるべくもなく、
受賞作が見る価値もないほどの作品とまでは言えない。

賞名の「ＷＯＲＳＴ」は一般には「最低」と記されることが多い。

賞の順番はラジー賞のホームページの「ニュース」の掲載順。

ちょっと面倒になったので邦題は略すが、日本公開された映画も多い。
結果が伴ったかどうかは別として、配給会社がいけると見た証拠だろう。
