日本の時間、世界の時間。
The time of Japan, the time of the world

The Chinese have no sense of justice or fairness in the world as we do.

It is the latest book published on 10/4/2022.
It is a must-read not only for the people of Japan but for people all over the world.
All Japanese citizens who can read the printed word must immediately go to their nearest bookstore to subscribe.
It is, after all, the first book of a conversation between Masayuki Takayama, the one and only journalist in the postwar world, and Seki Hei, who graduated from Peking University, studied at Kobe University, was struck by a revelation when a friend invited him to Arashiyama, married a Japanese, became a naturalized Japanese citizen and continues to expose and criticize China's evil with a sharp tongue, as one of the world's leading China experts.
It is their first book of dialogue with China.
The following is an excerpt from p. 173-177.
The emphasis in the text other than the headline is mine.

Putin's praise overflowing on the Internet expresses dissatisfaction with Xi Jinping.
Seki Hei
They are one-sidedly developing their arguments, a kind of propaganda often used by the Chinese Communist Party.
However, due to this influence, the Chinese Internet was overwhelmingly filled with praise for Putin, and on the contrary, a chorus of condemnation, "Ukraine is outrageous."
Even I was shocked, and let me introduce some of them.
Putin launched his war of aggression on February 24, and here is what Chinese netizens had to say: "I'm glad, I'm glad," "Putin, our Putin, stood up after putting up with so much," "Enjoyfully, enjoyable. Shall we drink like we're being showered?"
Takayama
I see; I guess everyone thought Putin would win soon.
Seki Hei
"Putin is indeed a man of his word. The people in Ukraine, NATO, and the U.S. are probably trembling right now." "Russia will win, and Justice will triumph over evil."
Takayama
I doubt Putin's Russia is righteous.
Seki Hei
"Ha-ha-ha, has it finally begun? It happens when you go against our Putin, the great fool of Ukraine. Long live Putin, long live Russia." "Suck up to Ukraine and the West. The hero Putin bravely stood up against the evil West and its watchdog Ukraine. Let's cheer for Putin. Let's cheer for Russia." "Let's sincerely pray for the complete victory of our god of war, Putin," "As long as Putin, the world's greatest hero, has taken action, it will conquer Ukraine in no time. Since Putin, Eventually, Putin will rule Europe, and he will rule our Asia. So, let's work with Putin. "
We see a total lack of sympathy for Ukraine, which is being bullied.
By all accounts, Russia and Ukraine are different sizes.
It is like a big man and a baby fighting.
But there is no sympathy at all.
The Chinese people's thinking is based on the idea that "the strong is greater than the weak."
Another is that "aggression is right."
Their conception of right and wrong is the exact opposite of today's world.
It leads first to the defense of Putin and then to fierce praise.
Praise that Putin is a hero of our time, a great leader with a strong will.
Takayama.
After the dissolution of the former Soviet Union, Russia fell into chaos and became a third-rate nation, but the emergence of Putin saved it. Is that right?
Seki Hei
Some say that due to his twenty years of hard work, Russia has regained its glory as a world power. Some say, "Russia is lucky to have such a strong man like Putin."
"He is a friend of the Chinese people, and we are reassured."
A netizen on the account "Xiangqianjian" had even more to say.
"Putin is a strong man who should be respected. He has a strong will like iron and a sharp mind. Not only is Putin an all-around sportsman, but Putin can operate fighter jets, tanks, and artillery at will, and Putin can defeat his enemies. In foreign wars, he has won every battle in a row. Putin is like a god of war for the Russian people. As a leader, he is steadfast and invincible, noble and generous, and to restore Russia's glory, he confronts every enemy and crushes those who stand in his way. This approach is enjoyable, like a gust of wind shaking a fallen leaf. How can one not respect such a man? How can one not worship such a leader? ......"
Takayama
Hmmm. The attitude of the Chinese people is beyond description.
Seki Hei
A female Internet user named "Anboku Yokusei" wrote on her Weibo, "How can Putin, who is nearly seventy years old, captivate the hearts of young Chinese women?"
She says that Putin "has both a strong will like iron and a tender heart, and is truly a prince on a white horse for women."
And she has sent an emotional love call to the sixty-nine-year-old Russian, saying, "If I were to marry, I would want to marry Putin."
The woman, "iceberg leek flower," wrote on Weibo, "Putin is a hero for many Chinese people. Many girls around me also love Putin.
They worship him. During the recent war in Russia, we all are worried about Putin, praying for him and cheering for him as best we can."
These, of course, may not be the opinions of all Chinese people.
But they are a good indication of the sentiments of the general public.
The Chinese have no sense of justice or fairness in the world as we do.
The notion is that it is natural for the strong to bully the weak and that it is foolish for the weak to rebel.
They admire the strong and believe that the strong are allowed to do whatever they want.
These words gave me an insight into the psychology of the Chinese people today.
I thought that the Chinese people's praise of Putin to this extent reflected their dissatisfaction with their leader, Xi Jinping.
In other words, "Xi Jinping has not yet become a strong person like Putin." They want Xi Jinping to be like Putin, "a man who fights boldly against all enemies and is like a gust of wind shaking the fallen leaves.
I feel this is very dangerous.
Takayama.
I am a little surprised that there is such a lack of interest in Xi Jinping among the citizens.
Such madness among the people could drive the leader to war.
Seki Hei
I was born in China, and I have been working hard for China's democratization because I believe the country will get better.
But when I see posts like this, I have no choice but to despair.
I can only think that it is not only a problem of the Communist regime but that most Chinese people are also sick and in an abnormal state of mind.
