The following is the continuation of the previous chapter.
The problem is even after this.
Information asked here is posted in the ‘Prime Minister's doings’ of the newspaper.
Casually, when I peeked at Twitter, someone's mutter came into my eyes.
It was from Mr. Tadashi Tominaga, former editor of the Asahi Newspaper.
I have not followed his account, but it seems that things that someone retweeted has flowed.
Mutter was written as follows with link citation of prime minister's doings on its site.
‘Prime Minister's doings (11th)’ Interview with the monthly magazine Hanada at the official residence at 4:23 p.m., 5:37, the official residence ... ‘It is a big service for an hour to a minor magazine.’
Indeed, there is no doubt that ‘Monthly Hanada’ has a smaller number of copies (minor) compared to the Asahi Shimbun but still bother to say other companies' 'minor magazine' to treat other companies with contempt, I hear the Asahi says to respect minorities and how diversity is in that same mouth of arrogance, Asahi Shimbun's behavior disgusts me.
Naturally, many reply of criticism were given to this tweet.
The Asahi Shimbun said that it reduced the number of circulated circulation by 1.8 million copies over the past 10 years.
Therefore, although it was forced to rationalize including personnel cost cut from 2016, it was not worth it, and last year it decreased by 300,000 or more in one year. Of course, we cannot compare monthly magazines and daily newspapers on the same stage, but the ‘minor’ Monthly Hanada is rising steadily, on the other hand, to be generally accepted ‘Major’ Asahi Shimbun now declining downwards on the right.
Until now, I occasionally criticized the tone of the Asahi Shimbun bitterly, but since that time I have been looking forward to seeing the daily changes of the Asahi Shimbun.
What will be the fewer copies of more than 300,000 copies per year this year?
Earlier than expected, it may come to the ‘minor league’ where we are.
We will be waiting with a big welcome (laugh).
