今日本の天皇皇后両陛下がフィリッピンを訪れていられます。第二次世界大戦の犠牲者の慰霊のためです。
TPPの問題が取り沙汰されるようになって、急に東南アジアの国々が日本人にとって身近になってきました。
私も昔タイ　シンガポール　台湾　香港など旅行したことがあります。
今私にとってはフィリッピンは観光だけでなく、友人の住んでいる国になりました。オンライン英会話でフィリッピンの先生から習っているからです。
先日先生のお子さんが画面に顔をだして、マリオブラザーズのルイーズの人形を見せながら挨拶をしてくれました。私のブログやFCで乗馬している私を見て、自分も乗りたいとママにせがんだそうです。
いつかセブ島に連れて行って乗せてあげると約束をされたそうです。
私もセブ島で乗馬したくなりました。

Our very own Emperor and Empress are visiting the Philippines now. TV shows the scenes everyday. I also enjoy seeing Philippine sceneries too.
It’s hard to believe that 70 years ago there was a bitter battle in the Philippines.
Since TPP is highlighted , We consider southeast Asian countries as our very close friends. Around me some of my acquaintances lived or visited in those countries.
I visited Thailand, Singapore, Hongkong and Taiwan long time ago. At that time these countries were visited for just for sight seeing purposes .
Now I have friends through online English lessons. They are Filpinos who speak fluent English. So Philippines is not only a country for sightseeing any more but also a country where my friends live.
Recently I got a very young friend who attends an elementary school. He is an adopted child of my Filipino English teacher.
Yesterday he showed his face on my pc screen and said Hello to me with a figure of computer games (Mario Brothers). My grandchild used to enjoy this game very much.
Since he saw my picture riding a horse he realized he also really wants to ride a horse. His mom promised to take him to Cebu island where he can ride a horse someday.
My interest has increased when I heard about it.
Maybe someday I could visit Cebu island and ride a horse there too.
I am looking forward for a chance to visit a new place and do my favorite hobby of horseback riding.

気温は低くても風もなく日差しがあったので、さほど寒く感じませんでした。
今日はたまプラーザの友人の家に行きました。手作りのケーキでバラの花びら（エディブルフラワー）がかざってありました。
シュトレーンも添えられていましたが、ホイップクリームをかけて頂いたのは初めてでした。
ネスレバリスタのコーヒーも初めていただきとても美味しいと思いました。
そのあと近所の和食レストランでお昼を一緒にいただきました。

柚子はおいしいですか

クラブの駐車場の隅に柚子の木があり黄色い実がついています。その横には小藪が続き、さざんか 椿 きんれんか 桜 ヒバなどが植わっています。
その横を通りかかったとき、リスが柚子の実をつかんで、目にもとまらぬ速さで小枝の中を飛んでいきました。安全とみられる小枝の上で皮を口で上手にむきながら
せわしく食べ始めました。可愛いしぐさなので、思わず持っていたカメラにおさめました。 

英語の学習

 

Three years ago, I began learning English on line which is quite a new way
to learn via the internet. I have never thought I could meet a teacher at
that time.
Now it is a reality. It was a splendid time to get together with people
we have never met before and immediately felt at ease.

I had lunch with an on line teacher from the Philippines together with
other 5 Japanese students including me last November 10, 2015. The　teacher
brought along her 15-year-old daughter with her. It was an awesome
experience to speak English with my teacher and with fellow Japanese. And
once again, new friendships were forged.

When I was young, there were few chances to talk to foreigners in English.
And we learned English on the radio or cassette tapes. Of course you can go
to the Language Schools. But It was rather expensive to continue learning
English for a long time then.

Now the world is getting busier and busier and the need to communicate in
English is getting higher and higher and actually fast becoming a necessity.
Learning English on line has become very reasonable nowadays. Learning
English online does not only give us a chance to learn but it also gives us
an opportunity to be a friend with a teacher and meet her or him someday.
I am really glad to be learning English on line.

I still remember the time when I lived in Kyoto where I met many
foreigners and tried to communicate with them in English always. Those
memories are still very fresh in my mind and will always be fond memories of
my youth.

ランチを一緒に

 

 

オンライン英会話の先生がフィリッピンより１５歳の娘さんを連れて来日し、観光をかねて日本の生徒に会いに来られました。
関東関西と４グループに分けてそれぞれの地域であいました。私は横浜グループで中華街の重慶飯店で会食をしました。
生徒は女性５人で千葉 藤沢 埼玉 などからでした。お互いに顔見知りではないのにすぐにうちとけました。
年齢はまちまちでしたが、小学生のお子さんがいられる方がいちばんお若かったように思います。
その後中華街を皆で見てまわりました。
いつも思うことですが、外国から来られた方々と直接接して交流を図ることは、とて世界が広がり興味深く楽しいものです。
そして流暢な英語を目指しての学習意欲が高まる良い機会でもあります。
