Reader's Digest 8月号の記事 "All in a Day's Work" From the Police Blotterからです。
A man reported that a squirrel was running in circles on his street, and he wasn't sure if it was sick or had been hit by a car. An officer went out in response, and as he drove down the man's street, he ran over the squirrel.
