Merriam-Webster's Online Dictionary で "incognita" を見ると、
"incognito" --used only of a woman
となっているので、"incognito" と同じ意味の女性形である事が分かります。 そして、 "terra incognita" の説明は、
unknown territory : an unexplored country or field of knowledge
となっていました。 複数の辞書を見るのが習慣になっているので他の辞書も見ます。
