quibbling lawyers and gibbering politicians

最近はマラソン人気が高まってきたので、レースのエントリーが満員のためできないことが昨年から頻繁になってきました。来る１１月に行われる私の住んでいる隣の区の江東シーサイドマラソンに葉書で申し込んだのはやはり定員オーバーで落選し、８月３０日の午前０時からインターネットでのエントリーが始まると聞いたので午前０時を待ち直ぐに応募しようとしたのですが、アクセスが殺到しているようで中々エントリーができず、やっと受け付けられたのは午前１時を過ぎてしまいました。処理能力に疑問を感じるシステムなのでインターネット受付の定員内に入ったのかどうかはまだ定かではありませんが、エントリーできたとすると、今年の秋のスケジュールはこれでだいたい決まりました。９月、１０月は卓球の試合が五つ、レースは１０月に10km、１１月が今回申し込んだハーフマラソンです。今は卓球とテニスをしているだけで全くジョッギングはしていませんが、９月になって少しは涼しくなったら週末に走ろうと思います。
