Today, I’d like to focus on some phrases that when we talk about our health.

In my English lesson, I sometimes hear some of my students talk about their health issues.
There is a lot of health-related vocabulary, so I’d like to pick up some and let’s learn them today!
When we talk about health problems, we can say…
“I have...”
・a headache
・a stomachache
・a toothache
・a backache
・an earache
・a fever
・a cold
・a cough
・a sore throat
・sore muscles
・sore eyes
When you hear others people's health problems, you can give them advice, such as…
“You should...”
・take some medicine
・go to the doctor / dentist
・get some rest
When you don’t feel well, or when you hear your friend says “I have a cold.”, how about using one phrase above?

時々、自分の英語レッスンの中で生徒の方が自身の健康状態を英語で話していることを耳にすることがあります。
英語でも“健康”に関する語彙や表現は多くあります。
今日はその内のいくつかを紹介したいと思います。
自分自身の健康状態を話したい時の表現は例えば・・・
“I have...”（…がします/…です/…があります）
・a headache（頭痛）
・a stomachache（腹痛）
・a toothache（歯が痛い）
・a backache（腰が痛い）
・an earache（耳が痛い）
・a fever（熱）
・a cold（風邪）
・a cough（咳）
・a sore throat（のどが痛い）
・sore muscles（筋肉痛）
・sore eyes（目が痛い）
相手に対する健康に関してのアドバイスの仕方は例えば・・・
“You should...”（…すべきです）
・take some medicine（薬をのむ）
・go to the doctor / dentist（医者・歯医者に行く）
・get some rest（少し休む）
自分の健康状態を話す時や、健康に関するアドバイスをする時は参考までにどうぞ。
