英語環境のカフェでパソコン用の電源が利用できるようになりました！

Good morning and thank you for your visit to English Plus blog!
Today, I’d like to announce new service at English Plus cafe.
Since this January, customers can use Softbank's Wi-Fi service at English Plus cafe!
With this service, someone who has softbank service with certain equipment can use internet for free.
At the same time, we hear some requests from our customers, who use computers and i-phones, that they want to use the outlet at our cafe.
So, this time we started new service that customers at our cafe can use our outlet for free!
The number of seats with the outlet is limited, so if you want to use the outlet, please let us know!

今年が始まってからEnglish PlusカフェではSoftBankのWi-Fiサービスを始めました。

このWi-Fiサービスは、SoftBankユーザーの方でしたら快適にインターネット環境を提供できるというものです。

English Plusカフェのお客様の中にはご自身のパソコンなどの機器をお使いの方もいらっしゃり、電源を使いたいというリクエストをいただくこともありました。

そこで今回、English Plusカフェをご利用のお客様に“パソコン用の電源が利用できるサービス”を始めました。

小さいカフェ＋電源に近い席の数も限られているため、ご不便をおかけすることもあるかもしれませんが、ご利用の際はお気軽にお問い合わせいただければと思います！

About a week ago, we changed the menu at English Plus cafe.
Since then, we've been trying to renew our menu on English Plus' cafe page, but we couldn't do it for a week...

Today, let’s learn some English related to doctors.
In our daily lives, we sometimes have a chance to visit hospitals.
At a hospital, there may be a lot of doctors.
So, today let’s learn some of them!
In general, we can say "doctors", however, we can also call them by these, for example...
・surgeon
・physician
・dentist
・orthopedist
・pediatrician
・psychiatrist
・ophthalmologist
・ob-gyn
・veterinarian
You may need to use one of them in the future, so let's practice & master now!

English Plus カフェポイントカード配布後～これまでの反応

Good morning and I appreciate your reading English Plus blog!
Today, I'd like to write about the responses of English Plus cafe point card.
Two Mondays ago (March 12th), we started handing out our English Plus point card.
So far, quite a lot of cards have been taken! (Thanks a lot!!)
Since each point card has its own English names, the customers responses are positive!
Almost all people choose their favorite English names and I often hear them say "interesting!"
When you come to English Plus cafe, you'll be able to get one, so please don't hesitate to ask one!
At the same time, we're thinking about some events using this point card!
When we make up our minds, I'd like to announce them in this blog or English Plus homepage!

本日は“English Plus カフェポイントカード配布後～これまでの反応”についてです。

ちょうど２週間前の月曜日（３月１２日）English Plusカフェのポイントカードの配布をし始めました。

配布を始めて以来、カフェのお客様にはかなりたくさんのカードを配布することができました！（ありがとうございます！）

English Plusのポイントカードには、すでに１つ１つ違う英語の名前が入っていることもあるのか、ほとんどのお客様は好きな英語の名前を取った後、楽しそうにポイントカードのことを話しているので、今までのところ反応は上々だと思います。

今なら、英語でオーダーするとボーナスポイントの特典も行っていますので、カフェにお越しの際は是非１枚どうぞ！

なお、現在はこのポイントカードと英語を使った様々なイベントを企画中です！

決まり次第、このブログ上もしくはホームページでお知らせしたいと思います！

ビジネスでもすぐに使える英語での別れの挨拶の表現

Good morning and thank you for reading English Plus blog!
Today, let’s learn some useful greetings for“good-bye.”
When I think about human relationships, I can think of some relationships.
For example, family, friends, acquaintances, co-workers, business partners, and so on.
If there is a relationship, there definitely should be communication and an opportunity to say good-bye.
So, today let’ s learn some useful greetings to say “good-bye” and some of today's greetings can be used in business situations.
For instance, instead of “Goodbye”, you can say…
・I’ll miss you.
・I really enjoyed working with you.
・I really enjoyed meeting you.
・Thank you for your help.
・Thank you for everything.
・Thank you for helping me.
Of course, you can use other expressions too!
When you have a chance, try one of them!!

本日は“ビジネスでもすぐに使える英語での別れの挨拶の表現”です。

人間関係と一言で言っても、家族・友人・知り合い・同僚・ビジネスの相手など、多岐に渡ります。

人間関係が存在する以上、そこにはコミュニケーションが存在し、別れの挨拶をすることもあるかと思います。

今日はそんな中で、ビジネスでも使える“別れの挨拶”を学習したいと思います。

英語で別れの挨拶の代名詞と言えば“Goodbye”ですが、Goodbyeの代わりに以下の表現が使えます。

・I’ll miss you.（あなたがいないとなると、寂しくなります）

・I really enjoyed working with you.（一緒に働けて楽しかったです）

・I really enjoyed meeting you.（お会いできてよかったです）

・Thank you for your help.（助けていただいて感謝しています）

・Thank you for everything.（いままでありがとうございました）

・Thank you for helping me.（助けていただきありがとうございました）

English Plusカフェの新しいドリンクメニュー“キャラメルラテ”の紹介

Good morning and thank you so much for checking out English Plus blog!
Today, I'd like to tell you a new menu at English Plus cafe.
We've just changed our menu at English Plus cafe recently.
What we did to our new menu is that we added some of new items!
One of them is "Caramel latte."
In my opinion, the taste is not too sweet, however, we can surely taste caramel flavor!
It's available at English Plus cafe, try our new flavor!

個人的な意見ですが、English Plusカフェのキャラメルラテは甘すぎず、でもキャラメルを感じられる味だと思います。

Yahoo Canadaの記事でTOEIC Part 7のリーディング対策トレーニング

Today, let's practice reading for the next TOEIC test!
Even though I took the official TOEIC test last Sunday, the next official TOEIC test is on May 27th.
It means there are only about 2 months to go!
So, from now on let's practice reading with the article that Canadians read in order to improve reading skills.

先週の日曜日にTOEIC公開テストを受験しましたが、次回のTOEIC公開テストは５月２７日です。
