おはようございます。英語講師のarataです。

ＴＯＥＩＣのスコアアップが、しっかりとできるようなオリジナルのカリキュラム・教材が完成間近です！！

今までの講師の経験・留学での生徒の経験を活かして、“ＴＯＥＩＣスコア向上に必要なポイントの理解・練習＋実際に会話で使える知識の習得＋生徒の方のモチベーションをアップまたは維持させること”を目的にしています。

現在、実際のレッスンでは、完成したものから使用しております。
（ありがたいことに評判は上々です！！コメントをくださった生徒の方々、ありがとうございます！！）

また実際のレッスンを通して、教材の改善点・ティーチングの改善点などを明確にし必要なところはレッスン後すぐに改訂・改正しています。

今後もニーズにあったものを提供し、生徒の方の英語力・ＴＯＥＩＣのスコアがしっかり向上できるよう、教材・レッスンの面からサポートしていきます！！

今日も一日前向きに前進です！！

What I'm doing right now is that I'm making an original TOEIC curriculum & TOEIC textbooks.
The purpose of this curriculum & textbook is that "Getting familiar with & practicing the point of TOEIC, and Motivating students"
Actually, in my TOEIC lesson, I'm using some of the textbooks that have been completed.
After lesson, I always revise and check the textbook and lesson content.
I believe that in order to continue doing this, I can offer what my students want & up-to-date information.
I'll just do my best to support my students!!

エクササイズと英語学習の関係

おはようございます。英語講師のarataです。

今日はエクササイズについてです。

現在は、最低でも週に２回はジムに通うことを心がけています。

以前はジムに通うこともなく、自分の体については一切無頓着な生活でしたが、カナダで生活して以降、意識が変わりました。

カナダでの自分の周りの環境（例えば友達にジムのインストラクター経験者がいたことや仕事場のボスが熱心にジムに通っていたことなど）もありエクササイズを習慣化することができました。

始めた当初は“単純できつい”の一言なのですが、“習慣化”してしまうと逆に“なくてはならない習慣”になりました。

この習慣化は英語習得においてはとても大切なことだと実感しております。

単語にしろ、文法にしろ、毎日の少しの積み重ねが後に身を結びます！！

英語学校も自分も毎日、小さなステップですが確実に前進です！！

Today, I'd like to talk about exercising.
I try to go to the gym at least twice a week.
Actually though, I hadn't been to the gym before I lived in Canada.
In Canada, I was in a kind of good environment to start exercising because there was a gym-instructor-friend and also my ex-boss liked exercising.
This environment motivated me to take up exercising.
In fact, the exercise was simple yet tough. However, once I got accsutomed to doing it, exercising became a part of my important daily routine.
I can say that "Mastering English" is also the same as this.
For example, if you continue learning English even 10 minutes a day, it will become your daily routine in the end.
At first this 10 minute a day seems not enough to master English, but after continuing this habit, I'm sure it will bring you a great difference!!
"Move forward one step at a time!!"

One thing I learned from the seminar and I always care about is "having positive relationships."

起業セミナー

おはようございます。英語講師のarataです。

昨日は起業に関するセミナーに参加してきました。

講師の竹内幸次先生の話はとてもおもしろく、２時間の講義は毎回あっという間にすぎてしまいます。

ちなみに昨日のトピックは“小売業・サービス業の特徴と成功事例”でした。

講義では全国/神奈川県の販売額・店舗数などの数字を見、過去から現在への傾向を見ると同時に経営上の問題、消費者側からの視点など多角的に知り、問題・対策を考えることができます。

また、他の受講者の方の参加もとても刺激となっており、起業を勉強中の自分としましては毎回とても有意義な２時間となっております。

次回のセミナーではとても楽しみにしている“店舗ツアー”に行く予定です！！
店舗ツアーでは、実際の店舗を何件か見学・お話をお伺いできるようです！！

このセミナーを通し、起業に関する知識をいろいろと吸収し、次のステップ（自分の英語学校設立）に必要なことを一つずつ、着実に実行していきます！！

できることから実行です！！

Good morning!!
Currently, I'm participating in a seminar which is about starting a new business.
The lecturer is Mr. Koji Takeuchi and his speech is alwasy very interesting as well as useful!
His 2-hour lecture always passes quickly.
In yesterday' lecture, I learned about the retailer & the service industry in Japan & Kanagawa.
In the lecture, I thought about some problems / solutions in the retailer & the service industry.
It was very meaningful 2 hours for me!
Next time, all participants are supposed to visit actual shops and we can learn about how to run a business and also we can ask the owners of the shops some questions.
I'm looking forward to this opportunity and I'd like to use some of the knowledge that I've learned in my school!

英語のテスト

おはようございます。英語講師のarataです。

本日は少し視点を変え、英語のテストに関する話題です。

先日、個人的に教えている生徒（高校生）の方が学校でＧＴＥＣというテストを受験しました。

このテストはまだ他の英語の試験に比べるとまだあまり認知度が高いとは言えませんが、ＴＯＥＩＣに近い形式のテスト、という印象があります。

ただし、ＧＴＥＣにはリスニング・リーディングに加えライティングのセクションがあります。

また、驚くべきことにＧＴＥＣの結果ではＴＯＥＩＣと違い、事細かに自分の弱点が把握できます。ライティングの採点では細かく文法やボキャブラリーのチェック・採点があります。

ＴＯＥＩＣは難しい・・・とお感じの方や
ＴＯＥＩＣの点数が伸びない・・・とお悩みの方は気分転換にＧＴＥＣを受けられてもいいかもしれません。

私の設立しようとしている英語学校ではぜひ、生徒の方々にいろいろな英語の試験にチャレンジしてもらえるような環境を作ると同時に、自分の意見をしっかりと言える英語力をつけていただきたいと思っております。

ただいま、様々なニーズに応えられるようオリジナルのカリキュラムを着々と作成中です！！

Today, I'd like to focus on an English test called GTEC.
GTEC is similar to TOEIC in a way.
However, in addition to Listening & Reading sections, there is a Writing section in GTEC, which makes GTEC unique.
If you are tired of TOEIC, why don't you take GTEC for a change?
I'm sure challenging will be beneficial for you!!
I hope in my school, my students are willing to take TOEIC, GTEC or some kind of English tests in the future.

ブログ２日目

おはようございます。英語講師をしていますarataです。

日本がワールドカップで予選を突破した記念の日に、早速２日目のブログを投稿させていただきます。

英語を習得する時にも同じことが言えることですが、毎日の積み重ねがとても重要なので、出きる限りブログも毎日更新するよう努力します。

実は、今日という一日は、日本がワールドカップで予選を突破したことだけでなく、私個人にとっても嬉しいニュースがあります。

私が教えている生徒２人が本日から３泊４日で海外旅行へと旅立ちました。

今回の目的は観光+“英語を話すこと”だそうで英語講師としては、とても嬉しいと同時に誇らしく思います。

ぜひ、海外でいろいろな経験をして、その出来事をレッスンの中で伝えてくれるとさらに嬉しいですね。

英語学校を設立した際には、学校でのレッスンだけでなく、実際に英語を使っていただけるような環境を整えて行きたいと思っています。

毎日、一歩ずつ前進です！！

As you know, this is the day Japan beat Denmark in the FIFA world cup and they have advanced to another round!!
I'm really happy about the news!
Actually, in addition to the news, I also have happy personal news too.
Today, two of my students went abroad in order to "speak English!"
I'm proud of them and looking forward to hearing from them when they get back from their trip!
