Pictured: The 95th Samsung washing machine to spontaneously burst into flames while operating ... and Australian firefighters say they STILL explode after company tries to fix them

  • Six Samsung top loader washing machines were recalled in April 2013
  • They have caused at least 95 fires nationally, 19 of which occurred in 2015
  • Most recent incident occurred at Corlette, north of Sydney on Wednesday
  • Samsung is offering to examine and fix the machines free of charge
  • However Fire Investigator Michael Forbes said even the machines that have been fixed are causing fires

Fire investigator Michael Forbes told Daily Mail Australia that in 2015, seven fires had been caused by the machines in NSW alone, the most recent of which occurred on Wednesday.

Despite issuing three recalls, less than half of the sold machines have been returned for the recommended service, and even then, the machines are just as dangerous.

'The problem now is even in the machines that have been fixed, we are still seeing fires in those machines,' Mr Forbes said.
