Coffee Break.

Three days ago, I went to the Kona’s Coffee Shop at Kotesashi in Saitama prefecture with my friend Sab and my wife.

Sub drove us in his car from Tachikawa Station to there.

It took 30 minutes.

I drank a Kona blend.  It had a mellow taste.  I liked it.

And I ate the pancakes, but they were very heavy and I could only eat two.

      

      

We stayed there for an hour and a half.

After that we returned to Tachikawa, where we went to Syunsai-an, a Japanese restaurant, and drank beer and sake.

      

      

That day the big amaebi sashimi was very delicious.

THE CIDER.

I got two bottles of cider.

Cider is soda pop with added syrup.

The name of the cider is Mitaka-nomori Cider.

It is only sold locally sale.

The name was taken from the Mitaka-nomori Ghibli Museum.

The street shop Association that sells the cider is in the same street as the Ghibli Museum.

I drank the cider.

The taste was the same as the Ramune that I used to drink when I was child.

The name Ramune is corrupted from lemonade.

I liked the shape of the bottle and the glass marble in the inside of Ramune.

I drank whisky mixed with the cider.

That was a little sweet but the taste was good, so I drank too much.ヾ(＠⌒―⌒＠)ノ

About Rainier cherries.

I looked up the word Rainier.

Rainier is a mountain’s name.

It is the highest mountain in the Cascade Mountains, in the State of Washington.

I saw Mt. Rainier from the Seattle airport, when I went to Alaska.

We call it the Tacoma Fuji because it is similar to Mt. Fuji.

By the way, Rainier cherries hang from trees in the Yakima Valley at Olmstead Orchards.     

                    These are Rainier cherries.

         

 

I think Rainier cherries look like Japanese Sato-nishiki cherries.

                  

                          These are the Sato-nishiki.

   

I love the Sato-nishiki.  That’s why, I'd like to try Rainier chreeies and compare the teste.

But Rainier cherries and Sato-nishiki are very expensive.

Someone give them to me please.

NEW ITALIAN RESTAURANT“LIBERALE”

I went to the new Italian restaurant 「LIBERALE」 with my classmates after the Tomato's Club class on the 21st of June.

The Grand opening was on the 20th of June.

It's near my house, about 8 minutes on foot.

We stayed there about 3 hours and we drank two bottles of wine.

The owner said " I worked at an Italian restaurant in Kichijoji as a chef ".

And now he has his own restaurant.

The atmosphere of the shop was good, with three young men working to serve us delicious food.

バーバの誕生日

７月２１日：　今日はバーバの誕生日で、また孫が料理をして呉れた。　ハンバーグがとても美味しく出来た。

ケーキにローソクを立てるのが大変、なんせ、歳が多いので(^O^)

７月１４日：　今日は孫が一人で冷しゃぶを作ると言って、買い物からなにからなにまで一人で作った。

大根おろしのつけだれが美味しく出来た。

新芽の会

6月29日は元会社の職場の同僚達と（新芽の会）、立川の「旬彩庵　あさの」で旅行の打ち合わせ。

立川駅で皆と待ち合わせしていたら、駅構内で青森市と立川駅共催のイベントをやっていた。

この他に炊き込みご飯とみそ汁も付きました。　もちろんＢＥＥＲも飲みました。

食事会

先週の土曜日6月8日、Tomatoの会で深大寺の白金亭に食事に行った。

料理はどれも美味しくて、品数が多く全部残さず食べたので満腹でした。

料理をいちいち説明してくれたが、憶えていません、ただ食べる事と飲む事でした。

 

この建物は飛騨白川郷から移築された合掌造りで、移築当時は茅葺き屋根でしたが、今は金属板の屋根に成っています。

特選和牛の握り寿司

イセエビとソフト蟹

特選和牛炭火焼ステーキ、レアで頼んで自分の好みに鉄板で少し焼きながら食す。

これが軟らかくて味が有り、絶品。

２階に場所を移しデザートとコーヒー。　梁のむき出しが良い。

山菜

昨日妻の行きつけのパーマ屋さんが、奥多摩の小菅村に行って来て、山菜を買って来てくれました。

夫婦2人分にしては多すぎるので、今日の夕方立川の旬彩庵あさのへプレゼントしに行きます。

イタリアンランチ

今日は孫娘の高校の入学式。

式が終わって娘と孫娘が我が家に来たので、吉祥寺のイタリアンレストラン「TALK BACK」でランチ。

安くてボリューム有り、美味しい。

孫娘は、骨付き鶏もも肉の赤ワイン煮込み（サラダ、スープ、パン、デザート、アイスティー、付き）

  

 

 

 

娘は、生ビール、豚肉のブランケット ピラフ添え（サラダ、スープ、デザート、コーヒー付き）

妻は、生ビール、菜の花とからすみのぺペロンチーノスパゲティー（サラダ、スープ、ガーリックトースト、デザート、コーヒー付き）

スパゲティーは量が多くて孫に分けていた。

私は、ワイン、エビ・イカ・タラコのスパゲティー（サラダ、スープ、ガーリックトースト、デザート、コーヒー付き）

　

入口の所で、ぐつぐつと肉を煮込んでいた。

孫は満腹して満足だった。   しめて5,550円　安い。

妻と二人で公園の中を通って帰って来た。

もう桜も散っていたが、沢山の人が花見？をやっていた。
