I have met Mr. Naomi Uemura , Mr. Tamori and Mr. Tsunaki Mihara & Kay Anna(His wife).

Mr. Naomi Uemura came to my house with some JRC Mountain Climbing Club members on the 7th of April 1980.
He was a mountaineer and adventurer, and he was the first Japanese to climb Mt. Everest on May 11,1970.
When he came to my house, I asked him which mountain he would climb next.
He said “The next mountain I will climb is Mt. Vinson Massif, the highest peak in Antarctica. I've arranged the airplane with the Argentinian army”.
However, during the Falkland War between 1981 and 1982, the plane was no longer available, and he postponed climbing Mt. Vinson Massif.
In February 1984, he succeeded in climbing Denali (Mt. McKinley) in Alaska alone, but he fell into a crevasse halfway down and never returned.

I met Mr. Tamori at Jazz Spot “J” in Shinjuku when my wife’s nephew played the bass.
