My company reunion.

I went to Jindai-ji hot springs「Yumori no Sato」for a company reunion  on the 29th of March.

These hot springs were drilled in February 1999 and opened in December 2000 at the Shiroyama-tei site.

They were named “Yukari” at first, but they are "Yumori no Sato (湯守の里)" now.

I heard that the Shiroyama-tei spent 100 million yen to dig these hot springs.

The water’s color is coal black.

We relaxed in the hot springs, had a banquet and then took a walk around the temple.

The ruin of Jindai-ji castle.

The Jindai-ji (temple).

There were 17 attendees this time.

I walked home.

On the way home I felt sad when I saw our company been demolished.

That's all.

My Indonesian friend Mr. Supriyatno Sukandar and his family came to my

house on the 12th of April.

His son is studying at Kyoto University.

So, he and his family visited Kyoto and my house.

When I and my wife visited Bandung 20 years ago, we were shown his kindness & generosity.

We could meet him again so we were very glad.

Mt. Tangkuban Parahu of 20 years ago. (2,084m)

               The crater.

Tangkuban Perahu (spelt Tangkuban Parahu in the local Sundanese dialect) is a stratovolcano 30 km north of the city of Bandung, the provincial capital of West JavaIndonesia. It erupted in 1826, 1829, 1842, 1846, 1896, 1910, 1926, 1929, 1952, 1957, 1961, 1965, 1967, 1969, 1983, and 2013. It is a popular tourist attraction where tourists can hike or ride to the edge of the crater to view the hot water springs and boiling mud up close, and buy eggs cooked on the hot surface. Together with Mount Burangrang and Bukit Tunggul, it is a remnant of the ancient Mount Sunda after the plinian eruption caused the Caldera to collapse.

That’s it.

A Photo Exhibition.

My granddaughter entered a photography club at her university.

The club held a photo exhibition on the 21st of March at the Toranomon Gallery.

My wife and I went to the Toranomon Gallery located 7minutes on foot from Shimbashi Station.

However, we mistook the way and we got lost.

Then finally we found it.

The pictures had personality but I felt they were so so.
