Well, this is winter squash, which I picked in October. I put it outside in the sun for three days and made sure to turn it over from time to time.
After doing that, all of the bacteria and bugs were dead, so then it was safe to keep the squash for months and months.
That’s wonderful. I think I’ll try it sometime.

Well, this is winter squash, which I picked in October. I put it outside in the sun for three days and made sure to turn it over from time to time.
After doing that, all of the bacteria and bugs were dead, so then it was safe to keep the squash for months and months.
