Working Solution for Ktag clone Kessv2 checksum error

2017-09-02 23:38:44 | 日記
Some users of KESS V2/ Ktag clone feedback one same question: They got have problem with checksum when R/W only flash, take this user’s problem for example: I have problem with my ktag clone. In slave (full backup) ver read and write ok, but if i want to read only flash (ex. sid 803) or micro (ex. edc17cp14) at end of reading 99% it write checksum error and every file is different. What I can do to read and write good in master ver.

6-1

Solution as follows:
If You have problem with checksum when R/W only flash, Your OS dont have C++ library. Two way:
– download C++ libarary from net -> instal it

or

– download from alientech website Auto ECU Programmer ksiute 1.85 -> install it, it will install C++ automatically -> remove dir C:\KSiute -> Replace it with KSiute dir which You get from Your clone supplier -> restart WIN -> be happy with Your master ktag.

Solution tested and works on 3 computers.

DONT START KSIUTE WITH YOUR CLONE BEFORE YOU REPLACE KSIUTE DIRECTORY!!!

PS:
-Some users said you must install c++ library 2005,2008, 2010.
c++2005 and net framework 2.0 then worked for my friend.

MB SD Connect C4 WIFI set on WIN10 laptop Xentry 03.2017 OK

30-1

Here share with you a personal tested guide, hope it helps and try your own risk!
How to set up MB Star C4 Wireless on a Dell XPS15 9550 laptop WIN10 and run Mercedes Xentry 03.2017 software?

I’m running Win10 on a Dell XPS15 9550 laptop with Intel AC 8260 internal wireless card installed.

After days of investigation and testing, the most important thing is
that: The drivers for your wireless card MUST support AdHoc
functionality.

This can be verified at the DOS command prompt. The command is: Netsh wlan show drivers
This command will show “Yes” or “No” on the line for “Hosted Network Support”.
If this line says “No”, AdHoc will not work properly.
Although I’m running Win10, Intel has drivers for the 8260 wireless card for Win8 which will enable proper AdHoc functionally.

The trick is to download the driver first, prior to removing your
existing wireless driver. Download the driver ONLY, not any driver file
with additional driver management apps included in the downloaded file.

Now you can go into Device Manager and remove your existing wireless
card AND check the box that removes all software associated with it. My
Win8 driver download file was a .exe file. I double clicked on it and
the Win8 driver for my Intel 8260 card was installed. Went to Device
Manager, right clicked on my 8260 wireless card and selected Properties.
Clicked on Advanced and was able to see several AdHoc related entries.
These automotive diagnostic equipment entries were not visible using the Win10 drivers.

AdHoc can now be verified at the DOS command prompt. The command is:
Netsh Wlan show drivers.
This command will show “Yes” on the line for “Hosted Network Support”.
If this line says “No”, AdHoc will not work properly

With AdHoc functionality confirmed, additional DOS commands can now be used to enable Road24h wireless connectivity.
This is what worked for me. Depending on your computer skills, your results may vary.

P.S. Recommend to get  MB DAS Xentry HDD 03.2017 for WIN7 or WIN10, WIFI set on WIN10 100% OK!

Feedback on BMW F22 M235i Coding Adventure with E-sys cable

2017-09-02 16:34:53 | 日記

19-1

Days ago, I used the new ENET cable to manage to do some coding on BMW F22 M235i. Then, i share my coding adventure on forums. And here is one of useful feedback. Put them here and it works.

My post:

“Finally had enough time off work to get all the software installed onto my laptop (over 7GB of files). Once installed I took my new E-SYS cable and connected to the OBD II port in the car. Note, if you haven’t found this connection yet it took me a while. My old E92 had a little plastic door right above the hood release, not on the F22. Everything being black I had to take a flashlight up under the driver side before I found it. No cover on it, just sits along the side kick panel above and back from the trunk release button.

Fired up the car (you can put your car on battery tender instead) and connected my new cable to the port and into the laptop. Fired up my new software (without the needed token files) and hit “connect” and prayed it would work. After two or so minutes of files loading and the bmw diagnostic scanner connection establishing communication with the car I had an active connection

Not having all the software fully licensed for use yet I did some simple looking around and check to see if my car was supported with the default F20 file set. I was able to the read my cars VIN and populate all the internal settings in the software configuration. Really cool! I now have access to all the internal data settings stored in my ECU. Save a copy of the original settings (will back them up to be safe) and shutdown. Once i get the token files I will begin finding and coding the different settings.

Pretty exciting stuff that I get to be my normal computer geek self and play with my favorite toy at the same time. Will keep this thread updated with my experience as I proceed.”

Useful feedback:

“You don’t need to be a computer software developer to install and use the software, but that won’t hurt either. The reason you are finding it difficult to find all the required information and setup in one location, as best I can tell, is that a lot of what is being done could be consider in violation of warranty and/or software rights. I think the people who have ventured into this are vary worried about being exposed to the powers to be, or worst held in some legal contempt for helping others change computer settings in someone else’s vehicle.

I had to make contact with no less than 3 individuals who have experience with the process and access to the software before I could even get it started. Now that I made it pass the initial issues I feel pretty good about performing these changes to my own car. I guess we will see shortly as I now have my token to perform
