先週の土曜日雨の中、駒沢オリンピック公園で行われた10kmレースを走りました。先月の江戸川区でのレースと同様に58分台とさえない記録でしたが、驚いたのは80歳代の2位以下は1時間超で走っているのに、優勝者はなんと56分台でした。
さて、安部公房の小説 "The Face of Another" を読んでいます。

"jell" は "jelly" を連想しますが、関係があるのでしょうか?
