各郊外は2年に一度そのチャンスがまわってきます。

1年に2回、回収してくれるようです。
回収してもらえるのは、2立方メートルまでの容積で
配布されている滑車つきのゴミ箱（Wheelie Bin)に
はいりきれなかった(危険物を除いた)家庭のゴミです。
冷蔵庫や食器棚などのドアは取り除いてから
出す必要があります。

Every two years, Brisbane households get the opportunity
to get rid of old junk that won’t fit into a regular wheelie bin collection.
The kerbside collection is your chance to put all those bits
and pieces out on the footpath for collection by the Brisbane City Council.
There is also a kerbside green waste collection service,
along with a new scheme where residents can register to have a green waste bin
that will be collected every fortnight.
When is the next kerbside collection?
Simply find your suburb on the Council’s kerbside collection page
and it will list the next collection date.
Residents will also get a flyer in their letterbox the week prior.

Don’t be surprised if people pick through your rubbish,

Taking rubbish to the tip
If a collection isn’t scheduled for your suburb in the near future,
you can always take your waste to the tip (also called a transfer station).
