本日は“2015年8月の英語レッスン受講生用アクティビティカレンダーができました（日本語編）”です。

English Plus（英語学校）では今月も様々なアクティビティーを企画していきます。

今月のアクティビティーでも“英語力を楽しくアップする”イベントを中心に行っていく予定です。

詳しい8月のアクティビティーの情報はEnglish Plus内に掲示してありますので、英語学校レッスン受講生の方はチェックしてみてください。

なお、今月のアクティビティーでは…

・Game Saturday（ゲームで楽しく英語を学ぼう土曜日開催“Game Saturday”）

・Homework Club（「宿題がありすぎて手につかない…」という方も大丈夫！講師や他のレッスン受講生と一緒に宿題に挑戦！Homework Club）

・Movie Night（English Plus Cafeを貸し切っての映画鑑賞会）

等のアクティビティーを開催する予定です。

毎週、何かしらのアクティビティーがありますので、English Plusレッスン受講生の皆様は、興味のありそうなものがございましたら、是非ご参加ください！お待ちしております。

Good morning and thank so much for visiting English Plus blog!
Today, I'd like to introduce an English training method to improve listening skills.
At English Plus, we support our students to improve their basic English skills both in and outside the classroom.
We often tell our students that "taking English lessons is important", and "doing self-study is also important." (Self-study includes lesson review, homework and so on.)
If our students would like some advice on English study, we try to give advice and suggest some training methods.
Today, I'd like to introduce one of the training methods we can recommend to our students.
Today's training is called "Rapid Reading Out Loud training."
This training can help anyone but especially those who think native English speakers' English is too fast.
What you need to prepare for this training is "an English book with CD (e.g. dialogue book)"
How to do the training is here...
1. Listen to the CD once without the script
2. Read it out loud twice with the CD and the script
3. Stop the CD and read it out loud as fast as you can five times
4. Read it out loud again with the CD
After this training, you might feel English is slow.
If you doubt, please try!
If you continue doing this rapid reading out loud training, it helps you improve your listening skills little by little.

Today, I'd like to introduce an English training method to improve listening skills.
At English Plus, we support our students to improve their basic English skills both in and outside the classroom.

Today's training is called "Reading out loud & Shadowing training."
This training can help you improve listening and speaking skills.
What you need to prepare for this training is "an English book with CD (e.g. dialogue book)"
How to do the training is here...
1. Listen to the CD once without the script
2. Listen to the CD, read the script silently and check the pronunciation
3. Read the sentences out loud with looking at the script along with the CD
4. Once again, read the sentences out loud with looking at the script along with the CD
5. Shadow the sentences without the script
If you continue doing this reading out loud & dictation training, it helps you improve your listening & speaking skills little by little.

本日は“English Plus（英語学校）６月のアクティビティ ～ Homework Clubの紹介（日本語編）”です。

English Plus（英語学校）では、レッスン受講生のためのアクティビティ（イベント）を毎月行っています。

英語力アップのために何らかのアクティビティが毎月行われていますので、英語学校レッスン受講生であれば、どのアクティビティでも参加大歓迎です。

今日は６月のアクティビティの１つ“Homework Club”を紹介したいと思います。

この「Homework Club」は文字通り「宿題クラブ」なのですが、English Plusのほとんどのレッスンで、毎回と言っていいほど宿題があります。

またレッスン外でも、レッスン受講生の個別の復習（宿題）の提出もあります。

毎週提出できれば宿題をためずにすむのですが、出張や急な仕事等で忙しい週があると提出が遅れがちになり、結果として宿題がたまっていきます。

この「Homework Club」は「たまった宿題を講師や他の受講生と一緒に取り組もう！」というアクティビティです。

個々の宿題を一緒に取り組むことで、レッスン内でわからなかったポイントの確認・復習や、新しい語彙・表現を学習することも可能です。

今月は土曜日に開催予定ですので、宿題がたまっているレッスン受講生は是非ご参加ください。

Today, I'd like to introduce one of English Plus' school activities.
We hold some school activities every month.
Actually, we hold some kind of activities every week and all of our students are welcome to join!
One of the activities I'd like to introduce today is "Homework Club."
This "Homework Club" is literally "The club that we do the homework together."
At English Plus, we give homework in most of the classes.
In addition to the class, we give "individual homework" to each student, so all the students have some kind of homework.
If they complete their homework every week, they don't have to pile up their homework.
However, if they are too busy to do their homework, their homework is piled up little by little...
This activity "Homework Club" helps those who have a lot of homework.
In this Homework Club, all the participants do their own homework and if they have questions about homework, they can ask the staff or the other students.
To do so, they can check their understanding and learn some new vocabulary and expressions.
