Today, I'd like to introduce some English that can be used for new year's greeting cards.
This past week, I asked some of our students, "What are you going to do this weekend?" and most of them said, "I'm going to write new year's cards."
Around this time in Japan, it's very common to write new year's cards.
Today I'd like to introduce some English that can be used for the cards!
For instance...
・Happy New Year! Wish all the joy and happiness!
・Happy New Year! Wishing you 365 days of happiness!
・Best wishes, joy, love and happiness to you in the New Year!
・Let us hope that the New Year will become the best of the best!
・Let us all strive to do better and be better in the New Year!
・May 2013 be the year your dreams come true!

今週のレッスンの中で、生徒の方々に“今週末の予定”について尋ねたところ、多くの生徒の方々は“年賀状の作成をする予定”と答えてくれました。

この時期日本では、年賀状作成の時期ですが、今日は“年賀状に使える英語表現”を紹介したいと思います。
