おはようございます。English Plus英語講師のarataです。

本日は“英語のトリビア ～ 人間の成長段階を英語で言ってみよう”です。

今日、ご紹介する英語は“人間の成長段階”に関してですが、個人的にこれらの英語は洋服屋さんで見かける機会が多いです。

あまり馴染みがない英語もあるかと思いますが、今日はこの“成長段階”に関しての英語を学んでいきたいと思います。

例えば…

・baby （おおよそ２歳くらいまで）

・toddler （よちよち歩きの子供・おおよそ３～７歳）or infant （幼児）

・child （子供）

・teenager （１３～１９歳の少年・少女）or adolescent （おおよそ１２～１８歳の少年・少女）

・young adult （青少年）

・adult （大人・成人）

・middle-aged person （中年）

・senior citizen （高齢者）

今後、これらの英語を使う機会もあるかもしれませんので、今からチェックしておきましょう！
