こども英語イベントへの初参加

Good morning, and thank you for your visit to this blog!
Today, I'd like to write about an event I'm going to participate in this morning.
The event starts this morning and in the event I'm supposed to give a short lesson to kids at a bookstore in Shibuya.
Actually, I have less experience teaching kids than teaching adults and when I heard this story about the event for the first time, I was worried.
However, at the same time, I thought it's a great opportunity to try something new before starting my own English school, so I decided to try!
I don't know how the event (lesson) will go, but what I can do is do my best!
I'll report this event in tomorrow's blog.

本日は“こども英語イベントへの初参加”です。

今日の午前中、渋谷の本屋さんで子供対象の英語イベントに参加してきます。

参加と言っても、子供向けの短いレッスンをするのですが、実際、子供に対するレッスン経験は大人に対するレッスンに比べ、あまりないのでお話をいただいた当初は不安でしたが、これも英語学校スタート前の良い機会だと思い、挑戦することにしました。

まだ今回のイベント（レッスン）が始まっていないので何とも言えませんが、とにかく自分にできることをしてきたいと思います。

また明日のブログでイベントの様子などをお知らせしたいと思います。

英語学校設立に向けて内装の打ち合わせ

Today, I'd like to write about what I did for my own English schoool to get ready yesterday.
Yesterday, I talked with a carpenter about the renovation of my English school.
Though I had some images and ideas of the school, I didn’t know either my plan was practical enough to carry out or it would be within my budget.
The carpenter, I asked for some advice yesterday, was very kind and suggested a lot of ideas!
What I need to do right now is to consider the carpenter's ideas and decide!

昨日は、英語学校の内装の打ち合わせをしました。

打ち合わせをする前から内装に関していろいろなイメージやアイディアがありましたが、実際、自分のプランが本当に使えるものかどうかわからなかったため、また自分の予算内で収まるかどうか知りたかったため、この機会に打ち合わせをしていただきました。

打ち合わせをしてくださった内装業者さんはとても優しく、協力的で、いろいろなアドバイスをいただくことができました。

今は、いただいたアイディアを基に内装の内容をもう少し見直して、内装に関わることを決めていきたいと思います！

英語学校スタートのための引っ越しの一日

Today, I'd like to write about yesterday's event for my own English school to get started.

As I mentioned "preparing for moving" in the related episode, yesterday was the day to move stuff to my new school.
There were about 15 boxes of English textbooks and materials in total in addition to my personal belongings.
Though I asked a mover for help, it took all day to move all of my stuff.
Now that the moving is finally over, what I need to do is prepare for my own English school to get started step by step!!

リンク先の記事で前回“引っ越し準備”のことを少し書かせてもらいましたが、昨日、英語学校設立場所への引っ越しをすることができました。

結局、英語ティーチング関連の本やファイルのみで合計１５箱くらいになってしまいました。

その他にも、自分の家で使う物もすべて移動させたため、引っ越し業者さんにお手伝いをしていただきましたが、１日仕事になりました。

引っ越しも無事終わったことなので、９月の英語学校スタートに向けて自分ができることを１つ１つこなしていきたい思います！

英語学校スタートに向けての引っ越しの準備

Today, I'd like to write about what I'm doing these days to get my own English school started.

Now it's August and I'm planning to get my own English school started in September, so what I'm doing these days is preparing for moving.
While preparing for moving, I noticed that the heaviest stuff is English textbooks and materials that I'm planning to use for my English school.
To my surprise, I need 7～8 or more boxes just for English books!!
I'll do what I need to do for my English school to get started!!

遂に８月に入りました。

９月中に英語学校をスタート予定のため、残り１ヶ月となり最近では引っ越しの準備をしています。

引っ越しの準備をしていた気付いたことは、自分の所有物で一番重く、数が多い物は“英語関連の物”（例えば英語のテキストや参考書、レッスンで使う教材など）という事実でした。

驚いたことに、英語関連の物のみで７～８箱かそれ以上の箱が必要な感じです。

が、今はできることから、しっかりと１つ１つこなしていきたいと思います！！

英語学校設立に向けての人生初の商標登録書類提出

Thank you so much for checking out this blog!
This is the TOEIC weekend in July.
Are those who are planning to take the test preparing for it?
As for me, I’m not preparing for the TOEIC as much as I usually do, so I wonder if I can get better score than the previous year, however, I’ll just use my time wisely and prepare as much as I can today.
Anyway, yesterday, after I had a couple of lessons in Tokyo, I visited the patent office in Tokyo again.
It was 2 days in a row going to the office and finally, I submitted a form of a registered trademark for my English school.
I really don’t know if they accept the idea of my logo as a registered trademark or not, but I can know the result in 6 months, and I hope I can make it!!

今週末は７月のＴＯＥＩＣ公式テストがありますが、受験される方は準備はいかがでしょうか？

さて、昨日は東京のカフェでレッスンをした後、再び特許庁へ行ってきました。

これで特許庁へ行くのは一昨日に続き２日間連続になりましたが、昨日、英語学校に関する商標登録の書類を提出することができました。

自分が提出したロゴのアイディアが商標登録されるかまだわかりませんが、６カ月後には確実にわかるようですので、その時には良いご報告ができるよう願うばかりです。

英語学校設立への次の一歩 - 特許庁での相談

Good morning and I appreciate your visit!
Yesterday, I visited the patent office in Tokyo for the first time in my life time.

The reason I visited there yesterday was I wanted to clarify some questions about a registered trademark.
There were several steps I had to take in order to ask questions, such as showing my ID to enter the building, visiting the main office, filling in a form, calling an extension number, and so on…
It took a longer than I initially anticipated to ask questions, but I’m glad and relieved to hear the answers to my questions
From now on, I’m going to prepare some necessary documents for applying for a registered trademark!

昨日、自分の人生で初めて特許庁を訪れました。

特許庁を訪れた主な理由は、商標登録に関していくつか質問があったためです。

特許庁では質問をするまでにいくつかステップ（例えば・・・建物に入る前の荷物検査・ＩＤチェック、相談する場所へ行く前に内線に電話を入れるなど）を踏まなければいけないことを知らずにいったため、時間がかかってしまいました。

が、良い経験となったと同時に、職員の方々は親切で自分の質問にしっかりと答えてくれたので、商標登録出願に関しての不安は解消することができました。

今からしっかりと商標登録出願準備をしたいと思います！

英語学校設立へ向けての青色申告会においての帳簿記入の練習

This May, I visited a local tax office and learned about the very basic knowledge of bookkeeping.

The last time I visited there, I applied for extra study, and they suggested I visit "Aoiro-shinkoku-kai", which is an organization helping with accounting.
So, yesterday, I went to the organization and studied how to do the bookkeeping on the computer.
I studied accounting a little bit since I visited the local tax office in May, but I had never done any accounting stuff on the PC, so it was a good practice!
From now on, I’m going to learn and practice doing the accounting little by little!!

本日は“英語学校設立へ向けての青色申告会においての帳簿記入の練習”です。

今年５月に、地元の税務署へ行き帳簿記入に関しての勉強会に参加してきました。

５月に地元の税務署を訪れた際、帳簿記入に関しての講座に申し込みをし、青色申告会で勉強することが決まっていました。

なので昨日、初めて青色申告会を訪れ、実際にコンピューターを使い、実際の帳簿作成の仕方を習うことができました。

前回、地元の税務署を訪れて以来、少しずつ簿記に関しては勉強していましたが、実務（PC）のほうはまったくでしたので、とても良い練習になりました。

英語学校設立準備段階の今、少しずつ簿記の実務も学んでいきたいと思います！

英語学校起業成功への一歩 - ７月のコンサルティング

Yesterday, after I had a business meeting in Shibuya in the morning, I moved to Kawasaki to take a business consultation in order to make my English school business successful!
The consultant was a medium and small corporate business consultant, Mr. Koji Takeuchi.

The main thing I learned from his yesterday was “how to use Facebook” for business.
I have my personal Facebook account and I usually use it for my personal use.
However, I never had an idea of using Facebook as a business tool until yesterday.
From Mr. Koji Takeuchi’s consulting, I was able to learn how to use some applications related to Facebook.
Hopefully, I can make use of these useful modern tools!

昨日は渋谷での英語レッスンに関する打ち合わせが終了した後、川崎に移動し英語学校起業成功のためのコンサルティングを受講しに行きました。

昨日のコンサルティングの主題は“Facebookをどのようにビジネスで使うか”ということでした。

個人的には以前よりFacebookのアカウントを取得しており、プライベートでは使っておりましたが、ビジネスのツールとして使うことになるとは思いもしませんでした。

昨日のコンサルティングを通して、Facebook上でのTwitterやBlogとの連携などアプリケーションの使い方などを学ぶことができました。

まだまだ学ぶところが多いですが、Facebookに限らずいろいろなメディアを使って、英語学校の成功に結び付けていきたいと思います。

東京での英語学校起業に関わる相談

Today, I'd like to write about my business-related activity in Tokyo yesterday.

Yesterday, since I decided the place for my English school, I went to the public health center of Minato-ward, and Chusho-kiko in Toranomon.
The reasons I visited the public health center was I wanted to ask how to get a permission to run a cafe, and went to Chusho-kiko to ask a patent attorney about a registered trademark.
The people who answered my questions were kind and capable, so both visits became very useful!!
There are a lot of papers to hand in from now on, but I'll do one by one.

昨日、英語学校の設立・起業場所を決めたこともあり、東京港区の保健所と虎ノ門にある中小機構へ行ってきました。

港区の保健所へ行った理由は、カフェ（飲食店）の営業許可証の取得の仕方について聞きたかったことと、虎ノ門にある中小機構へは、（上記のリンク先の）商標に関してのアドバイスをいただくためでした。

港区の保健所で対応してくださった係りの方、商標に関する質問に答えてくださった弁理士さんの方共々、とても親切かつテキパキと質問に答えてくださり、昨日訪問して正解でした！

飲食店の営業許可証・商標登録に関して提出すべき書類がたくさんありますが、１つ１つ確実にこなしていきたいと思います！！

英語学校の場所遂に決定

Good morning and thank you for your visit!
Today, I'd like to announce that I've finally decided a place for my English school.
I’ve been looking for a great place for my English school for quite long.
Actually, I started looking for one in Kawasaki area in August 2010, and since then I checked some places in Tokyo and so on.
Yesterday was a big-step day for me because finally I was able to decide the place for my English school!
Since the actual contract starts from August 1st, I shouldn’t say exactly where it is, but it’s near JR Tamachi station in the Minato-ward, Tokyo.
After I signed the contract, I realized that there are millions of things to do, but I will do all those things step by step!!

本日は“英語学校の場所遂に決定”です。

昨年８月の物件探しの旅に始まり、かなり長い間、英語学校のための最適な場所を探してきました。

実際、武蔵小杉を始め、新百合ヶ丘・武蔵溝の口・川崎や東京２３区内などいろいろな場所を見てきました。

いろいろ見た中で、昨日、遂に英語学校の起業の場所となる場所を決めることができました。

実際の契約開始日の件もあるため、今現在は場所の詳細をブログに載せることはできませんが、おおまかに言うと東京、港区のＪＲ田町駅から徒歩圏内の物件です。

契約書にサインした後、“まだまだ本当にたくさんやるべきことがある“と再認識することができましたので、これから１つ１つ実行していきたいと思います！
