The following is from Kairagi's tweet that I just discovered.

If special permission is issued to a child without immigration status, likely, the parent without immigration status will also eventually be granted special permission to reside.
I've heard that there are cases where parents get permission from the perspective of protection because even if a minor gets approval, they can't live if their parents are in violation.
It seems that the child will be used and it will be a situation that can not be forcibly deported.

So, the government can't just force the parents to return to their home country, so will the parents also be given a residence permit?
The only excuse for granting a status of residence is "children."
From a foreigner's point of view, who are serious about obtaining a residence status, this is disgusting.
