日本の時間、世界の時間。
The time of Japan, the time of the world

For Japan and the Imperial Family to be decent, Gakushuin needs to be thoroughly cleansed

The following is from the serial column of Masayuki Takayama, who brings the weekly Shincho released today to a successful conclusion.
This article also proves that he is the one and only journalist in the post-war world.
It is a must-read not only for the Japanese people but also for people all over the world.
A friend of mine, who is a voracious reader and who, like me, subscribes to Shukan Shincho every week in order to read the columns by Masayuki Takayama and Yoshiko Sakurai, called me to say that he was astonished and dismayed to learn for the first time that Mizuho Fukushima had been a visiting professor at Gakushuin for 11 years.
I was equally astonished.
I am sure that most of the other readers who learned the facts revealed by Masayuki Takayama for the first time were also astonished and dismayed.
(Emphasis in the text except that the headline is mine.)

Washing Up the Gakushuin
There is a Chinese man named Wang Ruilai. I don't know him, but he often expresses his opinions to the Asahi Shimbun.
Incidentally, "frequently writing for Asahi" is not an easy feat for a Japanese scholar to accomplish.
In fact, a signed article in the newspaper is equivalent to one paper.
If you accumulate enough of them, you can become an associate professor or even a professor.
It is the point of a newspaper far away from the leading newspaper, the Chunichi Shimbun, but it is worth about ten Chunichi articles if it appears in the Asahi Shimbun.
So Wang seems to be a scholar of some importance, but his history has always been unknown.
Recently, we learned that he was born in Heilongjiang Province in 1956 and that he worked for the China Book Bureau after graduating from Peking University.
It is the department that produces textbooks for junior high and high schools.
It was the time when Jiang Zemin was absorbed in anti-Japanese education.
A picture of a young woman's corpse appeared in a high school textbook, saying, "This is the human experiment of Unit 731.
It cut off her arms and lower limbs, it cut her breasts off, and a stake was shoved into her pubic region.
Several Japanese military doctors surrounded it.
It is said to be an incriminating photo of the brutal Japanese army. Still, in fact, it is an autopsy photo of the Jinan Incident, in which Chiang Kai-shek's army massacred Japanese residents.
It was banned in Japan because it was so brutal.
It got the Chinese people's barbarism up the way the Japanese did.
Wang must have been doing that kind of work all the time.
One day, Wang appeared in Asahi's "My Viewpoint."
His title is "Visiting Researcher at Gakushuin University," and he talks about how "Japan, China, and Korea should write the same history textbooks based on the same historical understanding as France and Germany have done.
"It is no surprise that "Jiang Zemin's top lieutenant contributed an article to Asahi. The Asahi is always on the side of China.
But why does it have the title of Gakushuin?
Gakushuin was a place of education for the children of the imperial family before the war.
Both Emperor Showa and Fumimaro Konoe studied there, and Hideki Tojo attended primary school.
It could be called Japan's public school (United Kingdom), but GHQ, which had no such tradition, reduced it to a mere private school immediately after the war.
Even so, the current His Majesty the Emperor Emeritus, His Highness the Bearded Prince, and His Majesty Emperor Naruhito all studied here.
Tradition seems to have been preserved, but in fact, other developments have emerged.
One of these was the appointment of Mizuho Fukushima as a visiting professor at Gakushuin Women's College (formerly the Women's Division) when Prince Akishino's wife was of school age, a position she held for 11 years.
The leftward tilt of Gakushuin University later became apparent when Manabu Sato and others joined the Department of Education.
The claim is the same as Ruilai Wang, and Japan, China, and South Korea have the same historical perception: "Japan is an invading nation, and China and Korea are victims of good intentions."
There is no macro perspective such as "Japan fights for the liberation of Asian countries under white rule and sacrifices itself" (Cordell Hull).
That is why the second foreign language was limited to Chinese or Korean, and overseas training in China or Korea was mandatory.
The purpose is to visit the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall and the anti-Japanese wax museum of fake.
At that time, Sato was willing to apologize to Princess Kako of Akishino, who was still in school, for saying "Japan was bad" with Nanjing.
Princess Kako of Akishino was expelled from Gakushuin before the trip and moved to ICU, the same school as her sister Princess Mako of Akishino.
Sato's efforts to take over Mizuho Fukushima's efforts seem to have fizzled out.
I wonder if we can laugh it off as a pity.
It is strange to think about it.
A person who makes a living by making a textbook of Jiang Zemin from China came to Japan.
The Gakushuin immediately gave him a title, and the Asahi Shimbun had him publish his "Make people aware of Japan's evil theory."
It seems that the media and the education world have long since abandoned their sovereignty, and this seems to have exposed the transformation of Gakushuin.
In fact, Sato had no problem staying on even though Princess Kako of Akishino was expelled.
On the other hand, Prince Hisahito of Akishino gave up Gakushuin, which his father had attended for four generations, and went to Ochanomizu Gakuen.
Both Princess Mako and Princess Kako avoided Gakushuin.
I'm not saying that Christianity's university is not good, but to be frank, that university does not have tradition and prestige.
That's why Princess Mako of Akishino fell for a gigolo she would never have met at Gakushuin.
For Japan and the Imperial Family to be decent, Gakushuin needs to be thoroughly cleansed.
