The following is from Ms. Yoshiko Sakurai's serialized column in the latter issue of the weekly Shincho, released last Thursday.
This article also proves that she is a "national treasure," as defined by Saicho, the supreme national treasure.
It is a must-read not only for the people of Japan but also for people around the world.

Girls Suffering from Gender Dysphoria, a Disease of U.S. Society
Today, April 9, Sankei Shimbun carried an advertisement for "Girls Who Want to Be Transgender.
It is a Japanese translation of "IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE" written by an American journalist, Abigail Shrier, and published by Sankei Shimbun Publishing.
The advertisement read, "The 'book burning' is finally published.
The words "We thank you for your encouragement" and "No. 1 overall on Amazon" shine proudly and happily.
That may be so.
When this book was published, Sankei Shimbun Publishing and the significant bookstores that supposedly carry the book received outrageous arson threats.
The book was initially scheduled to be published by the significant company KADOKAWA.
However, some leftist forces in Japan protested against the book, claiming that it would promote discrimination against transgender people, and warned that they would hold a rally in front of KADOKAWA's headquarters.
Despite being a major international publisher, KADOKAWA succumbed to the blackmail of left-wing forces steeped in gender ideology.
Thus, freedom of speech and publication were trampled on at that point.
It is a bitter indictment of the prestigious publishing world that it allowed such a thing to happen.
The contents of this book, which will be discussed below, will certainly not be to the liking of those steeped in gender ideology and Woke people.
That said, it would be absurd to call for it to be banned from publication.
To bow to such pressure would shake the very foundations of our society, which is based on freedom and democracy.
It would also blow away the raison d'etre of publishing companies.
Seeing KADOKAWA's pathetic stance, Tomoko Seo of the weak Sankei Shimbun Publishing came forward.
Then came the arson above threat.
Nevertheless, Sankei Shimbun Publishing finally managed to publish the book.
And it was ranked No. 1 overall on Amazon.
Japanese society is alright.
Strangely, liberal media such as Asahi, which always upholds freedom of speech, expression, thought, and creed as if they were the golden rule, have been very reticent about the case.
They do not even report it.
They are also demonstrating their "freedom not to report" against Prime Minister Shinzo Abe here.

Navratilova's Protest
Schreier's book is a fascinating read.
He interviewed 200 people and 50 families.
The number of experts whose opinions she interviewed and the breadth of technical books she researched are also impressive.
She was surprised.
The number of girls who suddenly develop "gender identity disorder" during puberty and claim that they are actually male, even though they are biologically female, is rapidly increasing.
Between 2016-17, the number of people born female who underwent gender reassignment surgery quadrupled in the United States.
In the U.K., the number of teenage girls who want gender medical care has increased by 4,400% in the past decade.
Schreier analyzed the following.
In the last decade, transgender people have become more prominent, and in contrast, women and girls have become less prominent.
At the highest levels in high schools across the United States, female athletes are overwhelmed by biologically male athletes who self-identify as female.
Many of them were moonlighting on the boys' teams, though.
On the cultural front, too, the girls lost support.
Places once reserved for women are now shared by both sexes, sports records are unfair, as mentioned above, and protests are met with prejudice.
Martina Navratilova, an openly lesbian tennis player, wrote in the Sunday Times, "It is unfair to biological girls to allow transgender athletes to compete in women's sports.
She was then labeled as trans-hating and thrown out by her sponsors.
Suppose Navratilova, the world's most famous gay female athlete, was labeled an anti-transgender bigot for standing up for girls. In that case, it is even more impossible for unknown female athletes to oppose her.
Transgender activists seek to deny women their biological uniqueness altogether.
For example, a pregnant woman is increasingly described as a "pregnant person," and a "vagina" is now described with the abominable term "anterior hole.
In the transgender-inclusive lexicon, biological women are described as "nurturers" or "bleeders.
Transgender activists argue that this is a more sensitive term and more accurate.
But, Sihleier asks, "How does a real girl feel?
How would real girls feel?
They may no longer find meaning in being a woman, or they may feel uncomfortable and begin to think of themselves as transgender.
The report describes several cases in which universities readily accept and encourage such tendencies.

It is depression, self-harm, and drug addiction.
One example is the University of California, Los Angeles.
For example, the University of California, Los Angeles provides simple instructions and an application form for students to change their names on campus, or even legally, without ever notifying their parents.
More than a hundred colleges and universities, including Ivy League schools, offer health insurance coverage for transgender hormones.
Thus, the girls become men, and 21-year-old Helena, the daughter of Polish immigrants in Cincinnati, USA, describes her world.
There is too much depression, self-harm, and drug addiction in the transgender community."
Helena, who had never had gender dysphoria until adolescence, when she learned about transgender identity on the Internet, managed to turn back along the way.
Those who have turned back are called detransitioners, and most of them suffer from regret, Schreier notes.
Testosterone, even after just a few months of ingestion, can make a man sound remarkably low, and it does not return to normal when he stops taking it.
If they take it longer, they will be embarrassed by their unusual secret parts - their clitoris, which looks like an enlarged, tiny penis.
You may also be uncomfortable with your beard and body hair, which will be more noticeable in the evening.
If they go as far as surgery, they will have to live with a scar running down their chest for the rest of their lives.
Sihleier also noted that everyone she spoke with blamed the adults in their lives, especially medical professionals, for encouraging and facilitating their gender transition.
Many girls learn about transgenderism through social networking sites.
They see violent pornography and are unable to have regular sex.
The media, universities, and medical professionals who tout the new trend irresponsibly encourage the move toward transgenderization.
Transgender issues are still promoted by activists in this uncaring world.
The girls are irreparably scarred, and many families have been destroyed, is the reality that Ms. Schillreier conveys.
This book offers many valuable lessons.
I hope every politician and Supreme Court judge in our country reads it.
