日本の時間、世界の時間。
The time of Japan, the time of the world

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing

The following is from a book published by Masahiro Miyazaki and Tetsuya Watanabe titled Civil War or Communist Revolution, America's Looming Nightmare Choice.
Trump's Defeat, Another American Who Mistook Friend for Foe
Miyazaki
I have been pointing out for some time now that the most troubling thing for Japan is that the United States is a genius at mistaking friends for a foe.
In "The Truth about China, the Continuing Dark Continent: A Critique of Roosevelt's Policies, 1937-1969" by Ralph Townsend (translated by Hideo Tanaka and Kenkichi Sakoda), there is a description like this.
"The danger to the U.S. is not that there will be an attack from abroad. No country can threaten our country. The danger is that some of us, decent and well-meaning people, are easily swayed by propaganda."
Stupidly, the United States did put the cart before the horse to support China and impose sanctions on Japan as a threat.
"This is because it was put on the propaganda that 'China is suffering.'
In reality, however, the opposite was true, and military spending swelled to nine times that of Japan.
For many years before the Second Sino-Japanese War, China has invited a selection of German advisors to import large quantities of the latest weapons from each country.
At the beginning of 1937, the press and newspapers were agitating for the Anti-Japanese War. They were full of enthusiasm, saying that "Manchuria will be retaken" and that "1,600 fighter planes will be deployed. Speaking of 1,600 fighter planes, this number was not inferior to that of the United States (at that time). Over the years, many bureaucrats have embezzled and misappropriated the vast naval budget. Year after year, officials lined up to use public funds to flee to concessions and overseas. Conflicts between military factions also continued unabated. The country was in a state of chaos, and the Chinese people had no mercy for each other and were wildly violent, shooting anyone who stood in their way. The majority of the Chinese people refused to stand up to the enemy even if it told them to do so."
Whether it was 1,000 years ago or 4,000 years ago, they are no different from modern Chinese. The corruption-loving, corruption-first nature that is ingrained in the Chinese DNA will not change.
Watanabe
It hasn't changed at all. It is clear from history.
Miyazaki
Townsend goes on to say that the main reason for the sharp decline in U.S. exports to China during the ten years of Chiang Kai-shek's regime from 1926 was "China's national policy, the willingness of its officials to default on their debts, the failure of the legal system to crack down on lawlessness, and the confiscation, extortion, and racketeering of American companies by officials.
From Roosevelt to Nixon to Obama, the US continued to support such a corrupt nation.
It even cut diplomatic ties with the Republic of China and Taiwan and established diplomatic relations with the communist regime in China.
Instead of repeating this folly, Trump has cut off economic support to China and switched to diplomacy that defends Taiwan as a member of the free world.
Watanabe.
One of the last things Trump did as president of the United States was to effectively suspend short-term visas for 92 million Chinese Communist Party members and their families for 30 days instead of allowing multiple entries for 10 years.
Migration to the United States by Communist Party members has now become more difficult.
In the first place, you can't even get a green card unless you get a medium- to long-term visa and stay for a certain period of time.
Miyazaki
However, if you make the right choice, the devils will play Chinese agents in the US.
On November 3, 2020, the American people made another wrong choice.
They chose an old man with signs of dementia as their president because "the palanquin is lighter and the pare is better.
It reminds me of Edmund Burke's words.
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
