毛色が白と黒の子猫が母猫と我家に来るようになったのは8年前のことです。来るたびにごはんをあげていたら、そのうち独りで来るようになりお昼寝などもしていくようになりました。シロクロちゃんとなずけて我家の猫みたいになりました。オスネコなのでご近所によく散歩にでかけていましたが、夜は庭においた箱のなかで寝ていました。
時々は家の中に入れてキャラコちゃんとご対面させていました。夏などみつ君が小さい時など庭で水遊びをすると、シロクロちゃんもちょっと離れたところからみていました。
去年から少し痩せたかなと思っていました。29日と1日に帰ってこなかったので心配していたのですが、よくそうゆうことはあったのでそのうち帰ってくるだろうと思っていました。
2日の朝みると箱の中で寝ていたので、触ると息が荒く感じましたが、私は病院の予約があったのででかけました。
11時頃帰ると冷たくなっていました。とても急な出来事でした。

我家の動物たちが眠っているペツトメモリアルで供養していただくべく、遺体を運びました。
なぜか死んでいるのではなく、生きているシロクロちゃんとドライブしているような気持の錯覚が一瞬ありました。
先に逝った皆と一緒に仲良く天国で暮らしてほしいと思います。

Shirokuro-chan was an 8-year-old male cat with a black and white fur.
Since he was a kitten, he used to come to our garden with her mother cat.
They lived somewhere around. Every time they would come, I gave them
food. Gradually he came alone minus his mother cat and rested for a while
in our garden.
In summer, when my grandchild was very little, he played with water in a
little pool. Shirokuro-chan and I watched him together.
I placed a card board box in the garden for him. When it was cold, he
stayed inside. Some times I invited him inside the house and meet Calico, my
cat that prefers staying only inside the house.
He lives it up. Any way he has food and a better life however humble it
was. He can stroll as much as he likes in the neighborhood.

2 or 3 months ago I noticed Shirokuro-chan lost weight. Every morning I
gave food because he is usually waiting. For 2days he didn’t come home. I
was worried.
But it happened sometimes and later he comes home.
On March 2nd I found him sleeping in his bed. He looked like just sleeping.
I left some food in his plate and went to the doctor for my regular check up
.
When I came home I found Shirokuro-chan dead. He chose to die in a place
that he knows he is loved and cared for.

In the afternoon I took his body to the memorial park where there was a
cemetery for animals. The services consisted of a prayer by a monk,
cremation and burial.
Later on we can go to the grave to pray . So someday I will take my
grandchild there to say his goodbye and to remember Shirokuro-chan forever .
Our former cats and dogs are all sleeping there.
