YK9G

2008-04-02 07:15:18 | Weblog
YK9G will be active in Damascus from April 9th - 15th. Two stations +
amplifiers will be QRV full-time, CW only. We will have antennas for
nine bands 160 - 10 metres but 40 - 17 metres will provide most
openings. We will transmit on frequencies ending in '3' and always
listen split, up 1-2+ KHz. According to the DX Magazine Survey YK is
18th Most Wanted Country in W6/7 so we will maximise these brief
openings - however, Damascus is partly blocked in that direction.

The YK9G operators are Roger G3SXW, Nigel G3TXF, Fred G4BWP, Lionel
G5LP, Rob GM3YTS. QSL via G3TXF direct, bureau, e-mail for bureau reply
and LotW. See: www.yk9g.com for more details. Queries to
g3sxw@btinternet.com or Nigel@G3TXF.com.
