VU7 HAMFEST QSO TOTAL: 109.000 QSO !

VU7RG QRT :
At 24th January 2007 at 18.30Z (Indian time 24.00) VU7RG went QRT. In the 9 days operation from Agatti, Bangaram and Kadmat 92.134 QSO's have been made. We like to thank the world wide audience for the excellent behavior on the bands which made it possible for us to keep the split ranges within agreed limits. We have spent lots of effort to work North America in which we partly succeeded, the propagation was not in our favor.

VU7MY QRT:
VU7MY went QRT 30th January around 15.30Z, QSO total of 17.000. The Minicoy QSL card goes via the same QSL route as VU7RG and the logs will be published later.

Special QSL Cards
The special QSL cards have been mailed. We can still offer a few immediately shipped Special QSL Cards for new Individual Sponsors (details on Sponsors Webpage). Please note: All donations received while staying on the islands were considered for the Special QSL card shipping but there was no time to send acknowledgement emails since operation had priority. This will be done within next 1-2 days and the webpage will get updated accordingly.

On-line Logs
We are currently in the process of checking all logs and will upload a fresh log in the coming days which hopefully will show all contacts on the right bands, VU7MY will follow later in February.

Photo's
The first photo's have been uploaded in the Hamfest area and Photo's area. More to come in the following days.

VU7MY Minicoy
VU7MY will stay active until 30th January 2007. The Minicoy QSL card goes via the same QSL route as VU7RG and the logs will be published later..

Special QSL Cards
The special QSL cards will go on the mail right now. The envelop is stampted by the Kadmat Lakshadweep Post Office.

On-line Logs
On Kadmat we struggled to get the logs uploaded on daily basis, we had limited Internet access restrictions at the local high school, unreliable transportation and the operating sites were separated 2 Km. Furthermore we also had to make QSO's with you so time was flying. By the time you read this we have send the latest logs to DL5NAM for Agatti, Bangaram and Kadmat. The Minicoy logs will be published on-line somewhere in February 2007.
