Janusz, SP6IXF and Wlodek, SP6EQZ plan activity from St.Eustatius (NA-145) between 18 November to 3 December. They will operate 160 – 10m, CW, SSB & RTTY. Their location on the island has an “open” direction to Europe. QSL via H/c’s. A website for the expedition will be launched soon.

Club will be active from here between October 5-19th. Operators mentioned

CY0, SABLE ISLAND (Update). Randy, N0TG, reports: "Operation dates have
been modified slightly due to logistics matters: October 21-29th, 2010.
Unfortunately, Murray, WA4DAN, has had to withdraw from the DXpedition,
due to business conflicts. He was the original organizer and has been
involved with all of the planning since early in 2009. Gary Bartlett,
VE1RGB, has been recruited as the 4th operator. Gary is a skilled CW
operator, active competitor in contests, experienced in handling pileups,
and a great technical background. In addition, a plus is that Gary has
previously operated from Sable Island. Callsigns are: CY0/AA4VK, CY0/AI5P,
CY0/N0TG and CY0/VE1RGB. QSL 'all' callsigns DIRECT via N0TG or the
preferred QSL route is VIA the 'ONLINE QSL REQUEST Service'. QSL instruc-

9X, RWANDA (Update). Tom, DL2RUM, in Kigali, has announced that he will
be extending his stay through September, and will continue to be active
as 9X0TL through the following weeks:
August 29th through September 9th
September 19th through September 28th

Remember, he is here on business, so activity will be limited to his
spare time. Operations will be on 80-6 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY.
Equipment: K3 w/600 watt solid state PA, Butternut HF-9V, HB9CV (6m)

3B9, RODRIGUEZ ISLAND (Update/Reminder). By the time you read this,
Giorgio, IZ4AKS, will be active as 3B9/IZ4AKS from Rodrigues Island
(AF-017) between now and September 4th. Activity will be limited to
his free time as this is a holiday style operation and not a dedicated
DXpedition. Look for activity on 10-40 meters, mainly SSB, but possibly
RTTY and CW. He will use a FT-897D with 100 watts into a vertical antenna
placed near the ocean. QSL only direct with SAE and 2 USDs (NO IRC, NO

Likely to be two new DXCC entities onwards from 10/10/10, Bill AA4NC plans to operate firstly from St Eustatius from October 9 to 15. Following this activation, he will then move to Sint Maarten and operate from there between October 15 to 18. QSL info TBA.

Following their operation from Sebatik Island (OC-295) John, 9M6XRO; Steve, 9M6DXX, and Gordon, G3USR, will operate as 9M6XRO/P, 9M6DXX/P and 9M6/G3USR respectively, from Labuan Island OC-133, from 5 to 8 October inclusive (and possibly approx 0000-0200GMT on 9 October).

Activity will be on SSB, CW and RTTY with two stations using amplifiers to a Hexbeam, verticals and a 160m inverted-L very close to the ocean. All bands from 10 to 160 metres will be used. QSL 9M6XRO/P and 9M6DXX/P via M0URX, and 9M6/G3USR via home call.
